First topic message reminder :

Hi guys.Heres latest from me.A good friend of mine who owned a small design firm contacted me to design for them a villa for a public servant back in our province.
Been working with this for a week now from concept up to proposed design.Bit difficult for me cause i havent seen the actual site.They just gave me some site photos and lot plan but still not enough cause for me its very important to visit the site at least for design considerations.Anyway nothing really special with these just want to hear suggestions
from you guys.Not really sure about the column and cantilivered slabbut i think its the engineers job to make it possible.hehehehe.. Very Happy
Thanks CGP!Hope you like it!More power to all..

Post by v_wrangler Wed Apr 01, 2009 8:04 pm

Nice. My only nitpick is the water below the building.

Right now it looks like a highly polished mirror-like floor or something. Perhaps its because of the too-regular bumps and the lack of glossies as reflections move away from the object.

Specially for day shots, water may be very reflective because of the darkness but it doesn't mean that the refractive properties are cut off unless it is entirely muddy or murky. Remember that no object will bounce off light more than it can receive. That includes reflection and refraction and diffuse which should physically amount to a hundred percent. In laymens term, if you add refraction then you should lessen the reflections from what it is now.

Let the refractions glossy fade out as well as it moves away from the object. Thats the areas where rock, the poles meet the water surface.

Sorry guys for the late reply.Sensya na ala pa ding connection...hirap talaga..
hehehe.

@3Dzone-thank you sir!

@Sir daps-hehehe.kaw talga chief!hehehe.may naalala ka ba?hahaha..

@Sir nomer-salamat sir-Thanks sir sa suggestions.padadamihin ko pa sir
sa ngayon portfolio na lng po muna.Thanks sir!

@Sir Aldrin,Nuje,Jarul,Austria,ru33er_duCK!e,Denz arki,steff09,
-Slamat mga bro!Glad you guys like it!

@Sir Muggz and Wireframan-Thanks guys!Great discussion.!I like the way you guys
talk.Anyway thanks mga bro sa mga suggestions you both had a point.Frankly,im not
really sure how the engineers will solve this.The client really like the presentation
as per this morning conference call with them.He is willing to pay and hire very
good engineers to make the design possible.Im also worried about the shaking ng ground
to think this is going to be build in Zambales which is from time to time
we are still experiencing a bit of an earthquake. I already told them the
possible consequences but they are still insisting that its going to be done,.Im not
an engineer so i cant say no or yes when it comes to building stability. When I design
this, i only consider what they want and basic proportions.Theyll get back to me by next
week for some clarification and the possible sizes.I know marami pa tong revision and
glad you guys point already some of them.They said one of the feature of this house
is,they re going to have pre recorded projection of the interior.I dont know how
theyre going to do it.Mga public servant talga sa atin o!laging nagtatago.hehehe.
Anyway thanks guys for healthy discussion.Thanks for your time!

@Arkimead21,Arkimon84,natski08,Dell1520,Jay3design,Jomskie23,Torring,sir Cloud,Butz arki,
Alwin,Arki Tinz,Vamp Lestat-Many thanks for droppin by mga bro!Really appreciate it!

@Cubio-Thanks Dude!hehehe.Im not really fan of putting peoples sa images ko
but when i saw this couple pics sabi ko sillouhette nman e kaya pwede na!hihihihi.
Thanks dude.Ill try to post more view.

@ Sir Boks-hehehehe..Kaw talga bro!hehehe.Thanks ha..

@ Sir Roy-Welcome back sir!tagal mong nawala.Anyway thanks sir for the heads up
about reflection and refraction.Honestly may daya yung scene lalo na yung sa ilalim
building with the column.On dayshot,I put plane(White color) just above the water kse for some
reason nagiging dark brown yung ilalim ng slab.Maybe because of the water shader??
Dark brown soil yung material na ginamit ko sa under water.Kaya yung bounce ng light
from the sun e dark din?Correct me if wrong sir.Na weirduhan lng ako and first time
ko ding ma experience yung ganung behavior ng shaders.Again thanks sir Roy for
dropping by i will do more test renders dyan sa water shaders..
