Hi,

Just want to ask ano method niyo if you needed to cut this curve in half or maybe 1/4 of it?

I just need to make it thin but with the same curve. Maraming salamat! Smile

Ps. I don't know if you can see the image attached.

Hi, thanks sa reply.

Kelangan kasi same curve. So it's more like slicing it curve. Neutral

Well, if its a spline, add vertices then delete the edges you don't need

If its already a mesh, add slice modifier...

Oh, you mean make that curve thinner?

1. Go back to the profile spline

2. sobobject edge> select the outer or inner curve and hit outline.

That creates a new spline with the desired thickness, just remove the unwanted shapes...

Thanks sa mga reply nyo. Smile

Viper_01: I've tried that pero pag boolean, hindi ko pa din nakukuha yung desired curve.

V_wrangler: The last one you suggested worked!

Now I know when I need to make a form thinner. This is the technique: Editable Poly > SubObj > (Insert Vertex) Outline.

Thank you all! Very Happy

Sir marami kasing solution dependi sa user.
Sa akin share ko lang.
If CAD yan automatic editable spline yung line mo.
Select mo lang yung spline under Selection tapos punta sa outline set desired amount.
If gusto mo mag add ng vertex or segments sa curve mo. Select mo lang vertex or segments under Geometry select refine tapos add kana sa curve mo.
Etong method nato adding vertex or segments pwedi mo paiksiin ang curve length maintaining sa curve form ng object mo.

If you converted your object to Editable Poly.
No worries, go to polygon under selection select mo yung part at hold ctrl click edge para makakuha ka nang edge or line.
while edge selected under Edit Edges.
Select Create Shape from Selecton and choose Linear.
Yan may Editable Spline kana.
De Select the Editable polygon object under nia andon ang Editable Spline.
Hope clear at makatulong sayo.
