REMUNERATION/PAYMENT
I just wanted to ask if you're also having problems with the remuneration from clients especially the professional fee 5%. I seem to scare them off everytime I ask for it kasi. What happens is, I'll give them the schemes first then with the plan second and then I always end up not getting paid after. They just disappear.

Re: REMUNERATION/PAYMENT
Did they return the schemes? or they take it without any payment?

Re: REMUNERATION/PAYMENT
I think the fault lies with me as well for giving them the copy without remuneration since dapat may remuneration bawat kilos ng architect according na rin sa Code of Ethics... but how does it work ba? Shall I show them lang but not give them the plans? Then ask for payment pag hiningi nila ung plans? Or will I seem rude? My goodness...

Re: REMUNERATION/PAYMENT

Re: REMUNERATION/PAYMENT
since we are out of the country, kung pagilid gilid na work lang dito we see to it na may downpayment before we start the work, para kahit nabigyan namin ng scheme bayad na kami. full payment nalang for details drawings.

Re: REMUNERATION/PAYMENT
I was able to submit 6 revisions na ha since 2013 pa, then when they asked for another revision and told me if they could see the 3d before they engage, that's when I asked for payment na. :-( so the suggestion po ba na maiooffer nyo is I have to stand by my decision to ask for payment pra di na maulit? That is a professional way to do it naman and it's not asking for too much, just the payment for the corresponding work. Or. May ibang option na win win situation?

Re: REMUNERATION/PAYMENT

Re: REMUNERATION/PAYMENT
Salamat jamesalbert. Mejo bago lang din kasi ako kaya di ko pa ako masyadong confident about putting a price on my work. Di ko tuloy alam if fixed rate ba nung architect un or what. Ano ang basis ng singilan pag ganun?

Re: REMUNERATION/PAYMENT
Sabi nga nila if you are good in something don't make it for free. ito lang prinsipyo ko sir sana nakatulongkinshin wrote:Salamat jamesalbert. Re: REMUNERATION/PAYMENT
For me sir, downpayment muna bago gawa, just in case na tatakas or di magbayad, di ka na talo or masayang gawa mo.. example: pwede singil ka muna ng 10k para sa gagawin mong design or drawing/ depende sa laki ng gagawin mo..
like me here in saudi, pag may magpapagawa sa akin ng kahit detail drawing (CAD) or render, nanghihingi kaagad ako ng downpayment let say 30-50%.. bago ko gagawin yung pinapagawa/request nya.. then later on pag tapos na, saka mo sisingilin ng kulang or mag iwan ka lang ng 10% just in case pag may revision.
(malabo yan).
base on my experience.. nadenggoy din ako noon yun lang
