3ds Max Animation Empty 3ds Max Animation

Post by chaberloux Thu Dec 19, 2013 12:22 pm

Good day! I'm new here in CG Pinoy and I've been exploring for a while and I haven't seen tutorials on how to do my own short film (yet). I want to create my own short film and I don't really know where to start. LOL!

May story na po ako and all. Character design medyo wala pa, and I have it all in my head. Pati yung location niya. I would want to know kung paano ko gagawin yung environment niya. On how to do the background and at least the "modeled set". And what renderer is adviced for this? I am knowledgeable in Vray and experimenting on Scanline. I'm minimizing my render time lang po since laptop lang po gamit ko. I really need some advice. Sayang po kasi ang inspiration, baka mawala yung story. 3ds Max Animation Icon_sad

Thanks CG Pinoy! More power to us, 3d enthusiasts!

P.S. If this kind of thread is already existing, please link me to it. Or tell me if I'm in the wrong section. Thanks!

start with your storyboard... sketches.. comic strip... after that.. practice on creating environment ..... e.g. architectural, environmental scenery etc... pwede ka mag matte painting for background only those who are moving ang e animate mo ... you can start from there ... huwag mag isip na masayang lang ang idea coz nasa sayo yan if you have time start with that...  check my tutorials on animations ..

Hindi masasayang yang inspiration mo. Isulat mo muna. Di kailangang i3d agad. Good luck!

So, I started modeling the environment. Uhm, tatanong ko lang po sana kung paano po ako makaka add ng background elements (forest background) na hindi naman masyadong importante at walang interaction sa scene without compensating for the render time. Kasi the tree itself with white background already took up 19 minutes render time. Baka lalong tumagal if mag add ako ng animation. Any advice po?
