Life+Work for Pinoy Architects in Singapore- kumusta ang buhay dun?
Hi to all cgpinoy with Singapore experience. I have future plans to move to SG, with one wife (also working) and one baby. In your shortest description:
2. Madami bang good and long term opportunities (career growth)?
3. Musta ang family life+work balance (time)?
4. Money matters- in general, well-paid or poorly paid (savings)?
Maraming salamat po for sharing your personal opinion

Re: Life+Work for Pinoy Architects in Singapore- kumusta ang buhay dun?
Hi Onzki, me and my wife are working here since last year. My son just visit here twice a month or if there's an opportunity.
* Within that year of working experience here masyado mabilis, office- bahay- bahay- office. At first mahirap makipag- usap kase yun gamit nila is singlish/ british accent. To make it short, okay naman dito especially pag nagamay mo na yun work. Almost the same practice din dyan sa atin. Pinag- iba lang walang suhulan dito. hehehe
2. Madami bang good and long term opportunities (career growth)?
Sila kase they're looking at your experience here, kahit na 10 years ka na working dyan sa atin mas prepared pa rin nila yun me experience dito. Meron ka kase 1 month to stay lang dito, and for me it's not enough to look for good company na kaya magbigay ng mataas na salary except if your recommended by your friends here. Mas gusto nila yun recommended.
3. Musta ang family life+work balance (time)?
* Mas madami work kesa sa social life.
4. Money matters- in general, well-paid or poorly paid (savings)?
* Well- paid naman if you compare sa atin, ang kaso yun cost of living masyado mahal esp. kung family kayo pupunta dito. As in bagsak presyo. Yun rent ng isang hdb room dito is from s$350- 600 (Xphp34). Kung pareho kayo me work dito ng wife mo dapat me neto kayo at least s$4k-5k a month.
Last words, kayang kaya naman basta me disiplina, tyaga at determinasyon ka. Focus on your goal. Goodluck!!!
