System Temperature
Hello CGPinoy! Ask ko lang po if safe pa ba yung system ko with this temperature while rendering?
I'm using my Asus K53SV laptop. Ask ko na rin po kung ano yung maximum temperature na safe sa system especially sa laptops.
Thanks in advance!

Re: System Temperature
high temps yan sir, 95c and 96c is too high for a processor and mobo. pati gpu mo should not reach 69c in rendering kasi hindi naman ito gumagana habang nag rerender.
like i said before, laptop is not design for 3D rendering, ibang level na ang rendering, cpu & memory will create too much heat, wala naman cpu cooler ang laptop and wala rin naman heatsink ang memory nito unlike desktop, and unlike desktop also na malaki ang airspace at madaming fan sa loob, ang laptop isang maliit na cpu fan lang ang meron sya. very poor ito sa air flow.
ganito ang systema ng laptop, ang i7 na laptop is not as fast as the i7 of desktop, wag kayong mabubulag na makakita ng "i7" na laptop at iisipin naten na pwede ito sa rendering, nacompare ko na yan dati, i rendered an interior scene 2000px reso, 1.5 hr nagrender sa i7 desktop ko pero nun nilipat ko sa i7 laptop, 4 hours nag render. mas mabilis pa nga ang high end i5 desktop kesa sa i7 ng laptop thats the truth so kung mag rerender ka sa i7 desktop ng 2 hours, sa laptop mo parang naka mid range i5 ka lang kahit i7 pa yan, it will render 4-6 hours, walang cpu cooler walang memory heat sink walang fan for air flow, imagine 4-6hours iinit sya ng gnun. maaga yan bibigay bosing.

Re: System Temperature

As of now, naka entertainment mode lang muna ang pag nagrender. Nasa 65-69 deg na yung mobo tsaka cpu. Safe pa rin po ba yun? Wala pa budget pang desktop eh. hehe. Tiyaga muna sa laptop.
Sir teomatheus, Asus po brand laptop ko. 1.5 yrs. ko na rin sya ginagamit from gaming to rendering. ano po brand ng laptop nyo and what temps po yung maximum nya pag nagrender kayo?

share ko lang temp ng ge70 ko
tama si sir obby... laptop ko is ge70 3610 desktop ko is i7 2600k pa.. mas mabilis ng 15% yung desktop ko compared sa laptop ko..

Re: System Temperature
Heto po yung temps nya pag nagrender ako on balanced power option/entertainment mode ng Asus Power4Gear app. Mainit pa rin siya.hehe. Makakatulong po ba ang paglinis ng loob ng laptop para medyo bumaba ang temp nya?

Re: System Temperature
kelangan mo mag liquid cooling sa mobo at gpu, masisira yan pag palaging ganyan.. sayang... yung board ko asusp6t pag lagpas ng 60 kusang nag shut down....
Re: System Temperature
