CPU Over Temperature Error

help po mga masters.. katatapos ko lang po mag assemble ng PC.
kaso pag boot po nya may warning na CPU Over Temperature Error!
ano po gagawin ko? Sinunod ko naman po lahat ng insstructions sa mga manuals.

components:
intel core 2 duo 2.8 processor
asustek p5sd2-vm mainboard
2 gb kingston RAM

sana po my expert din sa hardware na pwedeng tumulong.

pre pls reset your BIOS setup in default...bka may nabago ka lang dun kaya may error...wait pa natin yun iba...

sir arki vhin, hindi ko pa po ginilaw ung bios nya. 1st boot pa lang ganun na lumabas.

Please give more details like how long does it take for you to receive the message and what part of the boot process mo nakukuha. So we could give you answers.

sir, first boot pa lang po. Tas nag appear po sa Bios ung cpu over temperature error. Sir, hindi po kaya sa motherboard ang problema? Baka po hindi nya kaya ung procesor?

Cguro nga sa processor pero not that hindi nya kaya yung processor mo. Baka may problem sa sensor ng board or baka corrupted yung bios. You could try removing the CPU, make sure the thermal paste is enough, Also make sure there are no bent pins. Also you could try the procie on a different board, troubleshooting 101. If all else fails, try updating the Bios of the motherboard. Goodluck pre.

sir ok na po. salamat po sir sa pagdaan. pinalit ko na po ung motherboard. Di daw pala kaya ung procesor. 2.5 lang daw ang kaya tas 2.8 ang kinuha ko. Hay... senxa na po sa abala.. paki close na lang po tong thread.

@mam kettle, namiss kita ahh.. sinindihan ko pero ayaw magliyab nung apoy ehh..
