@Afterdark:

mmmm i have buy some broken vaccum tube in vintage talipapa here, then i have modelled almost 7 main type, then i have make variations for have lots different models.

for smoke i have used just a panel with a texture insert inside the model, thunders are spline with noise modifier, then i put glow in after effect.

for illumination i just 2 vray area light in top and right side of image and lots omni just for specular hotspot.
