Design Plate - Fabella Hospital

good day cgpips..

long time no post., would like to share our 2nd plate this second sem.. at last, isang plate na lang at thesis na rin.. (",)

about the project, this serves as our last competition plate (being in 4th yr).. sayang nga lang, 2 entries lang kc per class.. long story din about the selection process..

anyways, a competition was held for the proposed new dr. jose fabella memorial hospital and maternal health training center.. the old hospital is in manila, not quite sure.. and the new one would rise beside lung center of the philippines in quezon avenue..

about the design, some say it was an overkill, not fitting to hospital design.. others, "the character seems much stronger for a hospital facility".. despite of it, i feel happy with the way it turned out.. and finally it was all over., a month's work collaborating with my groupmates..

feel free to comment and suggest.. it will be gladly appreciated..

nice design!!,,di naman overkill yung desig for me,, may isang comment lang ako dun sa site development plan mo,,kasi parallel yung shadow mo sa orientation ng north,,di ba sun rises from east to west,,,di naman siya big deal,,,pero nice design!!!

napansin mo rin po..

masyado po kcng madilim pag sa original north orientation..

kaya inadjust ko to get the desired shadow casting..

I liked the way you presented it. imho na lang on the interior sana binigyan pansin mo rin ito. Siguro if you have bigger image. The rest five "5" star.. Keep on posting.

thanks sir aldrinv2.. the first idea was to separate the exterior with the interior..

but with budget constraints, we decided to allocate 3 full pages to both exterior and interior..

1 thing i like most is your compostion here i like the way you capture the scene. May lugar ka sa 3d bro!! ndi lahat ng artist may talent sa composition which is also important. Keep it up! the best ang gawa mo!

It's not that I don't like the design...pero mukang malaking budget
para sa pilipinas to heheh....
pero galeng ng design dude, pang dubai na to!

Good design. Nasabi nila na overkill kasi Hospital yung project mo not a Commercial or a Mall.

thanks sir xxdarcxx.. yup.. by groups of 4 po sya..

my groupmates are the ones responsible for the plans.. (details per floor) tumulong din ng unti sa plans..

while i was the one responsible for the 3d model/render and layouts..

a month was given for the plate.. kaso nabawasan ng 1 week because of the field trip,.

bale 1 and a half week for modelling and rendering.. (plus the revisions.. kaya medyo natagalan.. )

yes, i can't imagine during the times of our professors.. doing plates without the magic of cadd..

my professor in design class used to do airbrush rendering during his college days.. can't say much about their effort, doing super manual plans for thesis presentation.. hats off to them..
