how to manage large interior scene
Hi to all cgpinoys,
Lagi kasi nag error upon rendering lagi mag hang up upon rendering at kadalasan failed talaga at mag crush din. Ginawa ko yung dynamic memory limit into 2000 instead of 400 default. yung default geometry naka seat into auto.
Hope you could help me on this kind of scenario. Thanks!

Re: how to manage large interior scene
maraming factor kung bakit nag crash ang scene mo, isa na dyan is yung number of polygon, try to reduce.. as I've experience it 32bit cannot handle large scene that much unless super optimize talaga ang scene mo, try to shift to 64bit at try mo ulit ..davendask wrote:edosayla wrote:ano po yung OS mo?? anong bit gamit mo?

Tama po siguro kayo sir. kasi I try to render this on my laptop 64 bit ok nmn xa.
Re: how to manage large interior scene

Re: how to manage large interior scene
naglilimit na ang render dahil 3.5gig ram lang ang nagagamit ng 32bit. sa 64bit, magagamit mo lahat ng 4gig ram. pwede mong gawin is palitan mo ang mga maps mo into lower resolution. lessen mo din ang mga polygons mo. no displacement.
Re: how to manage large interior scene
Re: how to manage large interior scene
try nyo po yong 3Gig-switch na tinatawag pag ganyang 32-bit ang OS na gamit nyo po pra ma-consume nya po yang 4gig na RAM po nyo, kung di po pa nyo nagawa ito... as per my experience, it works.

Sir bokkins ganun ba. Salamat sa advice po.

Sir saan po ba yang 3Gig-switch mahanap? Memory software optimizer ba yan?

try to xref your scenes. like your furnitures hiwalay from base or yung mga mabibigat na models pwd mong e xref. if magka crush pa kahit ginawa mo na lahat. try to merge it to a new clean max file. merge them all. save mo lng ang render presets mo.
hope makatulong.
Goodluck sir!.(^_^)..

...nag-post render ako then save ang Irradiance & light
cache... then render.... for final... bale dalawang beses nag rerender,
ung unang render naka uncheck ung displacement, Anti-aliasing filter,
ambient occlusion.... after post render... save mo ung (GI) irradiance
& light cache...set to low setting..... for final render: reload mo
ung (GI) irradiance & light cache then... check mo na yong antialiasing filter, ambient occlusion & set to high

Salamat
Re: how to manage large interior scene
upgrade to 64 bit and its done,

HEHEHE..yes sir salamat. sa advice..

This is so effective idea and my solutions in making a large areas of different angles. Make a multiple max files and save as, kung pwede every max file mo isang cam and remove objects na di nakikita sa scene but kept the lightings the same for all.
You have so many options as suggested by different members and the best way is to upgrade to 64bit. Good luck.
