Tweak and Proxy Help

Good day to all.

New user po ako sa max and everytme i read topics here at the site i always encounter the words "tweak" and " Proxy your trees or cars etc" . Im wondering what do they mean and how are they useful. Sana po may makapag-elaborate kung ano po ang mga ito.

proxy ang trees at car, ginagawa ito para hindi mabigat ang 3D file mo, kasi once nag insert ka ng 3D model car or trees na evermotion etc, lumalaki ang file size dahil mabibigat ito, kaya ipoproxy mo ito para gumaang ang 3D model, at isa pang maganda sa proxy is kahit gaano mo iduplicate ag mga 3D model ay hndi na ito bumibigat, counted lang ito as 1 model kahit gaano kadami mo iduplicate, makaka save ka ng memory ram ng pc mo pag nag proxy ka ng objects
