Pwede po bang humingi ng tulong regarding po sa thesis namen? nasa pre- thesis problem palang naman po kame (BOOK1). Wala pa naman po yung theme for this year's thesis pero ang tinatarget na po nameng sector is tourism, specifically ecotourism po. Nakaresearch po kame ng proposed project about ecotourism sa news in CALABARZON region,

The Southern Tagalog Consortium
for Industry and Energy Research and Development (STCIERD) and Department of
Science and Technology-Calabarzon (DOST Calabarzon) together with other concern
agencies like Batangas State University (BSU), Municipal Office of Lobo,
National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), Department of Agriculture
(DA), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Tourism (DOT),
Provincial Tourism of Batangas, Landbank, Department of Environment and Natural
Resources (DENR), Ecosystem Research and Development Bureau (ERDB), Rural Bank
of Lobo, and Lobo Foundation Inc. join together to come up with a proposed
project on Agro Eco-Tourism Industry of Lobo Batangas through a
Public-Private Partnership to Mainstream RDE and LGU Initiatives for the Biodiversity.

Unang consultation namen tinanung agad kame ng adviser namen bakit daw agro? sabe namen parehas lang naman siya ng agri, (more on agricultural land kasi ang Lobo) sabe niya hindi daw. Agri is more on the agricultural products and agro naman eh sa mga waste or galing sa mga agricultural products na pwede pang gamitin into something useful. Pwede nyo pa po bang i-explain pa?

Environmental (deterioration of the environment and environmental related health risks) and slow rural development (high unemplyoment rate, high poverty incidence and low human development) po yung mga nakikita namen na problem ngayon lalo na nga po sa mga rural areas. Sa Lobo, Batnags naman po, hindi pa ganun un extent ng environmental issues, pero diba prevention is better that cure. Haha! bakit pa hihintayin na masira yung environment bago gawan ng aksyon.

So ayun! naisip din po namen yung community- based tourism. Wherein yung employees eh local people or local community kung saan located yung project. Syempre kung makikita ng local people na pwedeng maggenerate ng job at income yung lugar nila sila mismo yung magtutulong- tulong maconserve yung environment nila. So yung environment at yung local community yung magbebenifit. Malaking percentage din ng income eh mapupunta sa community fund nila na pwede din nilang magamit incase of emergency or ayun basta something na yung community yung matutulungan! Any ideas or information po na mashashare about community based ecotourism?

Hmm? aside from ecolodges na magiging lodging ano- ano pa po kayang structures ang pwedeng mailagay na relevant at need para sa isang ecotoursim complex? yung din po kasi nasabi ng adviser namen baka daw walang architecture sa project at maging mapa lang! Haha!

Tsaka ano- ano pa po kayang activities ang pwede mailagay kasi leisure complex din naman po siya aside sa pagpapaexperience sa mga tourists ng agricultural related activities?
