Laptop or Desktop for 3D modeling, etc?
First topic message reminder :
• 40K budget specs
• 40-60k budget specs
• 100k budget specs
meron po kasi akong nakitang laptop yung Samsung Series 5 Ultra.
ang specs nya po is:
i7 Processor 2637M (1.7Ghz, 4 MB L3 Cache)
6GB DDR3 (4GB + 2GB) may extra 1 slot pa po
1TB S-ATAII HD (5400RPM) ExpressCache 16GB
1GB AMD Radeon HD 7550M
300GB HD
MARAMING SALAMAT PO SA MGA SASAGOT..

Re: Laptop or Desktop for 3D modeling, etc?

Boxy kasi yung design.

Re: Laptop or Desktop for 3D modeling, etc?
good day all !!
laptop or desktop for rendering and autocad..
pwede po ba magcomment about this..
about rendering the very important specs comes in mind po dapat ang core and the speed of our processor..yan po ang nagpapabilis ng render natin..regarding sa ram kahit 4 GB lang ang ram natin makakarender na tayo at decent results..although as much as possible the higher the ram the better for data processing na din and for the passage of our render..if we render in seperate passage..( color pass, shine pass..etc)
video card or graphic card..higher graphics more better..if only rendering and autocad pwede na ang 1GB radeon o nvidia, but i prefer nvidia..( sa normal maps) ang importante ang GPU and OPEN GL capability..
Data speed and processing..better to have separate SSD drive for your program and separate HD for your data, for fast handling of our works
di naman kailangan ang super mahal na laptop or pc..you just paid for the brand not for the capability of your machine..you can buy at less cost on a branded type like lenovo's powerstation its worth a penny but the precision were very excellent..
HP and other brands..the higher the processing the heat occurs..its normal for the processor to heat up.. choose the laptop that have a decent cooling system
gaming laptops are best ideals for 3D works..its already mooded
powerstations or workstations (desktop) it highly prefer to our works..the best.. less than 100K meron ka na..as i mention above..lenovo powerstation
pero lahat depende yan kung gaano mo kadalas gamitin..means kung hardcore user ka or just a hobbiest at kung gaano kabigat ang ginagawa natin..
hope can help
