Hindi pa. siguro sa next contest. hehe. psp lang na normal.
Re: Competition #7: Rewind
Kelan po ang deadline?
Bokks, Medyo pakilinaw lang kasi based on the title - A look into Philippine Architecture's Glorious Past. So sa aking pagkakaintindi - the contest is about remaking or simulating the golden years of those structures in the form of renders. So one would expect to see renders ng mga building noong ito ay hindi pa nasisira sa giyera or nadedemolish. At para dun sa mga existing pang structures - to put them in an environment like when they were still at their prime.
Unfortunately the rules for judging - where Relevance to History goes on the bottom of creativity and an open-ended awesomeness (this is a difficult category because one can be awesome depending on who's viewing and by which standards once was basing it) , this contradicts the concept title in my opinion. Kaya po medyo nalilito ako.
So if we have to relive or reenact the Architecture of the past in forms of visually appealing renders - then it has to conform to its history. Kung hindi na sya makodakan ngayon then by using the technology dear to all of us - it can be brough back to life. The renders won't be giving the structures justice if you put the 1900's structure into the year 2012? Di po ba?
Or is it really the issue. Kahit ano OK basta andun yung building na provided?
So does it mean - as long as it is awesome looking, say futuristic and totally unrelated to what I explained above - the chances of winning is 50% higher?
Is the contest about doing a render of any of those buildings during it's glory days or pwede chopchopin or i-ismorgasboard along with the ever reliable present day evermotion models (model libraries) ?
So OK lang na Capitol theater during the early days pero may cars ng back to the future?
Salamat po. Gusto ko lang malinawan kasi marami akong nakikitang wips na kakaiba sa pagkakaintindi ko sa concept ng contest.
BTW, Kailan po ba ang deadline?

I'm really interested on how they will judge this competition.
7.Be Creative- and I'm also looking forward how the contestants will translate this based on the competition title.

Pwede bang i render ang Buildings na Luma ang dating na may mga Dirt talaga at Crack (Sira) or
Mukhang as in bago talaga ulit ang building?
Pwede naman. Wala sa rules na naglilimit. Basta beautifully done. It may not take the first place pero baka pwede sa peoples choice.
As far as I know dude V its all about Rendering...pero may point ka po.
Rewind ang Tittle kasi dating structures ang ginamit (palusot) hahahah.
Wait natin Bokkins sumagot sa mga tanong mo.
Thanks Sir V for the question.

Re: Competition #7: Rewind
I don't know how this will turn out yet. I'm willing to see everything possible. It's gonna be a series of this kind. So madaming pwedeng mangyari. First take palang ito kaya medyo hindi pa pulido at broad pa ang topic. Pero once na mag-ok ang 1st batch, sunod sunod na to. Right now it's seeing the building standing lang muna. or whatever the interpretation is.
Re: Competition #7: Rewind
i really want to see them in their glory days since most of the structure hindi ko ata nakita ehe

The competition will try to simulate that bro. Calling all contestants, try to simulate your entries to the closest scene possible.

Madali lang naman gumawa ng wip. Gawan mo nalang. It's part of the process. We're not strict about it but it will erase all doubts na gawa mo nga ang entry.
