LWF - Office Interior
First topic message reminder :
It has been some time since I shared something.. so here's a recent one
I have finally normalized my gamma 2.2 workflow. as one CGP member said, "once you go LWF, you dont look back". that's true. i prefer the output and eliminates those annoying overblown highlights which is always present in exponential renders.
When I have the time will try out this gamma 2.2 thingie with exteriors.

Re: LWF - Office Interior
thanks in advance..
please help gusto ko kasing matuto mag LWF..

hi sir sorry sa late reply. di ko sure kung bakit madilim ang output niya unless you are using an earlier version of photoshop na walang capability to read exrs like the latest ones (CS4, etc). sa interior scene, i normally dont use the vray dome light, individual na vray plane lights lang sa windows. unless i need to cover the entire building perimeter, doon lang ako gumagamit ng vray dome light.

Re: LWF - Office Interior
Nice renders
Just a few tips below for those who like to play with LWF more:
Setting the Gamma to 2.2 AND checking the "Don't affect colors..." will make LWF renders "cleaner" especially in dark shadow areas. The explanation is a bit long so just take my word for it
Second, those who find LWF renders a bit flat can try lowering the secondary bounce multiply all the way to 0.5 (default is 1.0).
Lastly, those who are saving their files using LWF and finding dark images will have to overide their Gamma Settings when they save the image (overide to 2.2).
EXR gamma does not save the gamma overide, so you just have to adjust the gamma manually (0.4545) in PS to get the right look.
