LWF - Office Interior
It has been some time since I shared something.. so here's a recent one
I have finally normalized my gamma 2.2 workflow. as one CGP member said, "once you go LWF, you dont look back". that's true. i prefer the output and eliminates those annoying overblown highlights which is always present in exponential renders.
When I have the time will try out this gamma 2.2 thingie with exteriors.

Ang issue ko sa lwf yung maputla minsan or desaturated yung colors. How did you go about working on that issue?

Re: LWF - Office Interior
thanks guys. well it isn't perfect. there are instances where i use exponential especially pag super rush and i just need to grab previous settings
ed: workaround sa desaturated colors - i do a bit of post editing in both photoshop and lightroom.
ortzak: oh, i dont use the exr.. any benefit in using it?
rojs: dito ka rin sa SG? paramdam ka naman. hehe

Re: LWF - Office Interior
there is also a workaround here - either one uses reinhard, or set the gamma to 1.5 instead of 2.2. im finding that 1.5-1.7 is a good tradeoff between the exponential method (which is good for vivid, high contrast renderings) and LWF

Thanks sa mga insights. I missed this kind of interaction here at the forums.
I find it strange, evrytime i open my images in photoshop, hindi agad yung output ng max yung nakikita ko. I still have to set my exposure in ps to, 0.45 para lang bumalik yung totoong color shades or colors/output na nakikita ko sa render window or vfb ng max. Why is this happening?
Curious din ako sa exr, hope some can show us how to save in that format properly.

Re: LWF - Office Interior
@Celes; I'm guessing you already know this: EXR format gives you much more leeway/range to tweak the exposure in post pro without blowing out your whites & vice-versa..
@Arkied; EXR format is saved thru the VFB dialog box: save seperate channels choose EXR as format, 16 bit if you have Photoshop, 32 bit (much better) if you have Nuke or something similar..

.
wow! ang galing ng LWF mo ser!
Recently ko lang din ginamit ang LWF and yes, "you don't look back" or "can't go back" [sometimes]
I'm saving my renders to 16-bit TIFF format with default system gamma.
masyado lang pong intimate yung 2 chairs - [para kay ser at sa secretary po ba yun?]... yes yes AW!
at maliit din po yata ang TV [?]
CHEERS!
