Call for Ideas for a Competition

Parang masaya pag may bago tayong contest. Ano ang gusto nyong competition? List natin para at the same time, makapagprepare na din tayo ng ideas. Watchathink? Saka para makahanap na din tayo ng sponsors para malaki laki ang prize.

Futuristic or Modern building Design competition bro....Kc npansin ko s 3d gallery (architectural thread) wla tyo competition maybe its time n may competition nmn kc naisip ko it helps din pra ma improve p lalo Design and rendering ntn.
Pwede rin may criteria dito
DESIGN=60% and RENDERING 40&.....What u think mga master?

i would suggest texturing and lighting competition..
so we can gauge an entry how they texture and light the scene
on their own taste and pespective way...

the scene would be a premade scenario for download in gray state..
and for those who wishes to give in their entry per member.

In this way, everyone can cast votes.. by voting..!!!

I would suggest Architectural ( with entourage) & Interior Modeling ( Including Accs of course)....base sa Picture na gagayahin and after that winner or not pwede ring ibahagi sa mga member for their future library

i agree.. siguro lighting muna... (no post porcessing) ika nga eh i send yung model pati na setting para mareproduce. by that way marami matuto.. as i have said before say meron model (eg. sponza) then everyone will try to render it.... ayos ba yun sir bokks.

meron ako on the line, iyong di napasimulan last mid-january. naging busy kase ako kaya di ko na ipost. its about 2d/3d painting challenge. ok na ang rules, ginagawa ko na iyong banner image. ok n rin ang prizes noon

but since mas maganda yata yan, yan na lang muna. para relax muna ako....

the reason i said lighting and texturing challenge, instead of modelling nor setting a scene
so everyone can catch the setting made by a member entry..
after which we can collect tons of good ideas on texture presets & can be posted on our material section (see link)
as our kumpadre nomer is the author of that thread.

with newbie members coming-in to our community site can easily adopt and follow the setting
just like the work shared by k'padre architectura (jeff) for his glass material for my example..
remember, it's not just for newbies but to intermediate-advance-expert modes too...

Uh guys I guess we should suggest a competition na medyo generic naman, after all we are not architecture lahat dito. At the same time categorized into 2d and 3d para mas malawak na genre and makukuha.

Sa 3d:
A competition that is focused on a acertain theme na applicable sa lahat
e.g:
1. Future City
2. Destruction
3. Steampunk city
Or nanthing like that

sa 2D ganun din.

Mas maganda siguro pag ganito para naman lahat pwedeng sumali, HIndi lng yung magagaling sa certain skills set.

And yes sana matuloy

Sir suggest ko lng Futuristic and Eco-friendly Design...

i suggest architectural design din...mostly sa mga post kc puro interior..yung iba hndi n nila nabibigyan ng time ang exterior design..also agree ako sa lighting & texturing..mas ok yun para mas lalo matuto ang iba.. mas mataas ang criteria para sa design kaysa sa rendering...rendering kc is gadget lang naman.. everybody can learn how to render, pero sa design, dun mo makikita talento ng bawat miyembro...

HARDCORE MODELING Challenge - character / environment / vehicle puro fantasy/sci-fi bawat participants magpopost ng wires then for judges and members to vote. ika nga pasiritan ng dugo sa ilong.

maganda rin pala me concept sketch per entry paano ginawa o para saan bayun gagamitin o ano nagagawa nito.

boks suggest ko create a scene / building / whatever 3d scene you like basta made up of matchsticks lang
