how to scale in autocad?

hi mga master. pwede po bang pa help kung pano mag scale sa autocadd.and mag set ng papersize. e.i 20x30. salamat po. ngayon lang po ako nag aaral mag cadd. salamat

self taught kaba sa autocad?

Saan kaba gagawa ng paper size mo? model space or paper space? - kasi may mga tao sa model space sila at meron din sa paper space.

model space covert mo nalang yung 20"X30" sa (metric since nasa pinas tayo di tayo gumagamit ng english (inches sa mga drawings)) mm or pwidi rin cm may mga tao kasi na yung 1unit nila is 1000 usually mm gamit nilang units meron din yung 1 unit is 1 yun naman yung gumagamit ng cm

paper space set mo lang sa paper size na gusto mo sa plot manager.

very broad kasi ang katanungan niya...much better kung start siya sa pagbabasa muna...anjan naman si mr.F1 eh...

and ito pinakamadaling tip dyan. make sure to draw all your drawings in millimeter or real world size.

kung 1 meter, make it 1000 millimeters. para pag pasok mo sa paper space...you just type 1/the scale you will use XP, Example, kung 1:100 ka, you just type 1/100xp lang.

Pag meters kasi (meaning you draw a 1 meter line as 1.0 instead of 1000), mag compute ka pa, and that is more confusing. Parang yung tinuro sa microcadd, may table of scales pa silang binigay, only to find out na may mas madali palang way.

here is the process, parang guide lang ito, view the help files for more information:

1. set your drawing units - i prefer to draw in millimeters, so i set mine to millimeters. Kasi nga mas madali setup sa paperspace.
2. then mag draft ka na, after that. pag tapos ka na
3. right click lang sa layout tab...select page setup. and set your paper size, set scale there as 1:1
4. pag gawa na papel, type MV on your command line, and may mga options dun (dito, read your help files, as i don 't need to spoon feed everything, assingment mo na yan)
5. once nakagawa ka ng viewport sa paperspace, just type zoom, tapos after issuing the command, type 1/100xp, or 1/20 xp, depende na ngayon sa scale mo. yung bottom number lang mag iiba to indcate your drawing scale. Applicable lang ito pag millimeters ang setup mo.
6. Pag meters yung drawing mo, ito pahirapan...pero, kung alam mong mag research, i'm sure makukuha mo din. as for me, i prefer to draw everything in millimeters, mas madali, at walang kapawis pawis sa 1/xp factor.

now for your dimensions and stuff like that, go to the help files, it's all there.

Okay lang kahit meters di rin mahirap yan; 100/scale factor lang din yan. For example 1 : 50? Scale the drawing to 100/50. Thats it. Yun nga lang sa model space lahat ng drawings ko; dun ko na lahat inaayos wala nang paviewport viewport pa at palipat lipat sa model space to view space para ayusin lang ang drawings.
Personal preference lang po..

@engr2010, kung sa paper space ka gumagawa copy "co" mo muna ang viewport or yung box na may laman na drawing. after na copy muna para ma makapasok ka sa viewport na gusto mo e rescale type "ms" then rescale muna, kung tapos kana at gusto mong lumabas sa viewport type "ps". then arrange ang position ng drawing mo for plotting.

Same preference also for me, for me, mas madaling ayusin ang mga details kapag ilalagay ko na sa 20 x 30, then i will just change the value of DIMLFAC kapag lalagyan ko na ng dimensions,

for model scaling:

Sa drawing po lagi laging 1:100 example 5.00x10.00 meters then scale just select all, then comand 100/50=1:50 meters na.

Same process lang kapag gusto nyo ng ibang pang scale
mag set-up lang kayo ng scale na 1:100 then yung scale factor lang ang papalitan nyo.

and etc..

kung pare-parehas lang naman ang scale ng drawing, ung tittle block na
lang ang i-scale nyo, ingat lang kayo sa mga text height, kaya need nyo muna mag
checked print bgo ma i final lahat.

---yup; may mga nka ready din akong pang dimension sa 1:100, 1:20, & so forth. Isang size lang ng title block, same height pa lahat ng text parang na "leroy" lang din thereby giving an overall uniformity to all the working drawings..

make a rectang na 20x30..scale mu xa ng 2.54..pag millimeter gamit mu scale mu uli ng 100 ung box...o para makuha mu ung desired size ng paper mu pscale-scale ka lang dapat ng 10...dont worry sa output 1:100 parin yan basta di mu gingalaw yong drawing mu...

pero pag 1:500 naman gagawin mu yong iniscale mong 100 0r 10 scale mu lang ulit ng .5

1:500-.5
1:300-.3
1:200-.2
same with the other scale...
correct me if im wrong mga master...

para di ka na magcocomand ng dimlfac....
pm mo ako pag nalabohan ka sa sagot ko....
yan na pinakamgandang gawin mp para di mu na ngagalaw yong drawings at di ka na plipat-lipat ng layout...

dagdag lang to sa post ne sir jmo...ganun din un medyo dinagdagan q lang..hehe

com: plot then go to properties, custom paper size, then add, start from scratch, next, custom paper size, make it 20x30 then top and bottom left, right make it 00. then next create your own paper name. you just follow the screen. then create rectangle 20x30" or 762x508MM use your paper size the one that made. regarding the scale you can see on your right side button "ANNOTATION SCALE"
