Is this laptop (Compaq Presario CQ42 TX) good for everyday usage??? no hardcore gaming and stuffs that drain the battery quickly. To all those who own this model, does the battery life last long, like 5 hrs or something on normal use??? Thx for the reps \m/

i think its ok for everyday use, if you want your battery to last long, remove it and just plug the power if you are planning to use your laptop for the whole day.

i'm good with any Compaq. I have a 6yr old pc and 4yr old notebook still alive and kicking! any notebook battery will be good for at least 2yrs.
