First topic message reminder :

Good day po, newbie po ako, ask ko lang, kasi nagca-crash un 3d max ko while rendering with evermotion tree models, naconfirm ko na dahil sa models un pagcrash kasi nun naka-hide mga models eh nagrender naman un scene. kahit isang tree lang na i-unhide ko tapos irender eh nagcacrash na. un pagcrash niya eh during sa prepass process na. Thanks po sa maitutulong nyo.

Gamit ko po is Windows Vista Home 32bit, 3gb ram, 3dmax 2010 vray 1.50 sp4.

the only disadvantage of getting into the 64bit environment is compatibility lalo sa mga programs, kaya lagi ako sa 32bit kasi universal sya yun nga lang as i have read awhile ago 64bit supports memory more than 4gb while 32 bit only supports not more than 4gb.

my laptop specs is:
core i5
500gb hdd
ATI Mobility™ Radeon® HD 6470, 1G DDR3 VRAM
4gb memory

so any recommendations whether im gonna switch to 64bit environment just to prevent 3ds max from crashing? anyway i've also experienced 3ds max crashing in the middle of building light cache using a desktop with core2duo processor, a 2gb generic memory and a 512 graphics card, that's why i bought a laptop with a higher specs just to avoid this from happening.

This scenario isn't true anymore. I haven't found a program that didn't work with my 64bit environment; except for programs that are 10 years older or more, which for all intents & purposes I shouldn't be fiddling with anyways. Even 32bit apps work on my 64bit environment. 32bit ain't universal; can I install my 64bit apps on a 32bit OS? It's the other way around.
