you can do it by applying turbosmooth but theres some disadvantage pagnag apply ka nun.

iniisip ko kse na dagdagan yung mesh.. sample 3d box then imported sa max.. dba 4 sides lang nung box ang meron lines.. gusto ko sana dagdagan..posible ma un master?

use edit poly and tesselate the faces. tama ba yun word ko? it really depends on what you are trying to achieve.

di ko makuha yung point mo kung bakit kailanga mo lakihan yung numbers ng mesh mo kung box lang naman pala ang kailangan mo. much better kung di mo nalang lalakihan ng number ng hindi naman organic yan. di ba mas ok kung optimize yung mga object mo sa loob ng max. mas madaming mesh mas matagal e-render. unless kung ang object ay tao or kotse dapat nga taasan pero depende din kung malayo naman yung view na kukunin mo. nag aaral ka ba ng modelling ng max?

Dude f-41, maybe he's planning to do something with that box.

One way to do it is through dude chobs suggestion.
Pwede rin yung suggestion ni dude f-41 but the thing is it would make the edges smoother, which I assumed hindi yun ang plano ng TS.

Pwede rin namang after edit poly, mag connect ka rin ng mga edges.
There are many ways, depende sa gusto mong mangyari.

if you will start in a box, dun pa lang pwede mo na sya dagdagan ng segments which resulting to many faces...

If imported sa Max, try chobs and F-41 suggestions. Why not create it in Max, as ERICK said duon pa lang you can adjust na how many faces you want.

sir newbie po kse ako sa pag momodel sa max..usually po nag momodel ako sa cad. napapansin ko po kse pag arch na 3d or circular, pag import ko po sa 3dmax is bako bako ung arch. kaya iniisip ko na kesa taasan ko yung display resolution sa cad , e edit ko nalang diretcho sa max.

simple way to do what you want in that box to use modifier edit mesh or poly then by vertex selection, slice it on your desired no.of polygons or segments..hope it helps
