First topic message reminder :
Na-isip ko lang po mga cgpips/sir bokkins...ano kaya kung i-post natin yung mga (BEFORE) existing construction/project photo Images & (AFTER) Photo with new proposal Images using in 3DMAX, VRAY , CS..etc at sana kung paano ginawa para sa kaalaman na rin ng lahat at kagaya ko. OK lang po ba??

Jet Blue Terminal 5 JFK Airport - NY, NY
I worked on this a couple of years ago, it was an early development of Jet Blue's new terminal at JFK, early on we did some pedestrian simulations with Massive Software, same application that was used in LOTR, but instead of fighting agents, we had them walking through the space to see how crowded it would get during the rush hours. A very cool program and we're continuing to use it on other projects to simulate other types of pedestrian activity (what if there's a fire at Gate 8? The agents start to rush out...are there enough exits? Where is there congestion?) We call this service 'Mass Motion'
Here's a screen shot,
The new terminal was finally opened to the public last October, I got a chance to fly out on my way to Autodesk University last month!

USA Air Force Memorial, Washington DC
"Building this Memorial took a lot of talent and creativity and determination. Like the aircraft whose flight it represents, this Memorial is an incredible feat of engineering" - ex President George W Bush
Design inspiration:
On October 14,2006, before an audience of thousands, the President of the United States, George W Bush, accepted the United States air Force Memorial on behalf of the Nation. Perched high atop a natural ridge overlooking the Pentagon and adjacent to Arlington National Cemetery in Washington DC, the Air Force Memorial evokes the spirit of flight as its three glimmering stainless steel spires appear to soar to the heavens. Designed by the late James Ingo Freed of Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, the Memorial was inspired by the US Air Force Thunderbird F-16 fighter jets' "bomb burst" flight manoeuvre. And like this jet formation, the Memorial spires soar skyward in fitting tribute to the US Air Force and it's predecessor organizations.
Arup provided full engineering services in the design of the Memorial, including SMEP, fire protection, security, acoustics, lighting, and advanced technology engineering design.
------------edited------------------
The structure stood close to an airport and the FAA regulations stated that any tall structures had to have these Red beacon lights to warn any low flying airplanes. We didn't want to ruin the design, so the way around this was that, as long as the top of the structures recieved a total of 150 lux, the red beacons could be replaced. 3DS Max's lighting analysis tool was used to aim the light fixtures correctly to recieve that proper illumination.

"Beginnings" - Here's one that was just successfully installed last month at the University of California, Merced Campus...right in time for the Spring commencement held last week where the 1st Lady, Michelle Obama gave the keynote speech.

Re: BEFORE & AFTER IMAGES
Thanks guys n gals. I did get an invite from the PM, It was extremely hot that afternoon, so I didn't really get to put that much time into photography but it was a very inspiring speech by Mrs Obama! Next time I go, I'll have to document it better.
Nice post tropaks! Thanks for sharing these, they look great Always nice to see virtual reality come to life Congrats!
