Problem about my Logbook

mga sir and mam matanong ko lang kung pwede ba pumirma nang logbook kung ang boss ay architect pero ang mga project ay outsourcing lahat,counted po ba sa experience na ilalagay sa logbook kung sakali at maaprove ba to sir and mam

Unless may major changes sa rules ng UAP sa tingin ko makacount pa rin siya sa apprenticeship hours mo sir... so long as the apprenticeship works you've done fall on one of the categories required by the logbook ^^

Meron kasi akong konting outsourced drafting projects sa apprenticeship na nabilang din ang oras.

If you follow the rules strictly and you should, bawal ito. Kaya nakalagay sa logbook ang different field ay para matry mo sya with the 2 years period at para magkaroon ka ng ideas kung ano ano nga ba ang ginagawa sa mga fields na to. And if you do that, you wont need to go to expensive review centers dahil nagawa mo na it in real practice.

Graduates who fail to follow the rules are the same people to most likely fail the board exams. Because if you just follow it, there is no way you are gonna fail.

I know it is hard to find a company that will satisfy the criteria since most of the jobs now are outsourcing like yours, But I hope that you learn something from it and not just drawing and revisions.

Also, I think if you read what you are drawing, It can be consider as part of a field. Except those that require visiting the site.

To answer your question: Yes may posibiliting maapprove yan, pro yan ay illegal. Pwedeng maging ebidensya itong usapan natin.

If you will believe me, I suggest you seek for new employers and take the June 2011 or January 2012 board exams. You don't need to hurry, Buwan lang ang pagitan nyan, at lahat ng nakapasa dyan ay pareho lang tatawaging architects. Hindi naman "Ako si architect ng January 2012". Di ba? Good luck!

Tama si sir bok, more likely pag sa outsourcing company ka, ang mafifill up mo lang na hours is for drafting/drawing. Yung more in depth parts like estimation, construction, site etc. makukuha mo from actual firms. Kahit magpaapprentice ka muna sa isang architect na rumaraket mag-isa or maliit na firm na di gaano malaki magpasweldo, di ka mamomroblema sa logbook hours mo.

makacount yan bro, problema na lang eh ung estimate,site visit,at structural. With the period of your apprenticeship make sure na lahat ng scope sa logbook nafillup mo. I had a friend na puro cad work lang sya in within two years, then nakagawa sya ng way pa din to take the exam, kaso lang pagdating sa exam tinanong ung mga bagay na related sa site, at structural details, ayun kamot sa ulo. you may find alot of way just to fillup the logbook but you cannot alter what is the truth. In my two years experience after graduation i make sure lahat ng field sa logbook madaanan ko. kasi kaw din naman makikinabang later on sa exam.

salamat sir sa magandang sugestion,oo nga sir kahit architectural drawings ginagawa sa cad iba parin pag site actual kaya ngayun trinatry ko sa sites inusubukan ko pong magsite every wikends kahit papano,i saw mga shinare yung mga reviewer sir!

may questions din po ako regarding sa logbook, paano po kung napasukan ko is hindi architectural firm pero may licensed senior architect dun na emplayado at pumipirma daw siya, yung company po na ito is may pang-office at pang-site, siya po ay CAD supervisor sa office at ako na sa site as field architect, credited po ba pagpirma niya kahit hindi ko siya direct mentor? maraming salamat po
