I dont know if i'm missing something or what, but the keyboard "alt X" to make an object see thru in max 2009, seems not to work in max design 2011.Is there any alternative keyboard command in max 2011 equivalent to " alt X" of max 2009? Thanks in Advance Masters...

I don't know with you but still its the same shortcut use in 3dsmax 2009, kindly check the PDF for keyboard shortcuts below .

hi florenles... you've got to right click the object > object properties then activate the display properties by clicking the "By Layer" box, Apply, then OK... hope this helps...
