materials not merged

Hello po mga ka-CGP's...unang tanong ko po..bakit nawawala po materials pagnag-merge po ako..ex. trees. at paano po pagsend ng file na kasama materials.TIA po and Godbless! mabuhay ang CGP!

Thank's po for the immediate response..follow-up ko lang po..my nagsend sa akin ng max scene file..di po sya naka-archive posible po ba na maisama din yung materials doon?

Anduon na ang sagot. If hindi naka archive, malamang di nakasama yung materials. Max file lang ba pinadala? If pinadala sa isang folder check mo baka anduon yung mga materials.

Normally, separate yung proxy files, di kasi kasama sa archive eh.

Pag may nag send sa yo ng max file lang, wala talagang materials yun.
That's why ask for the archive. (just like what dude daps said).

Or you could also use the resource collector which I prefer.

Max files includes all material properties of the objects in the scene, so the chances of losing materials during merging are slim. This is of course not going to happen if the file you are merging doesn't have any materials applied to them in the first place.

If there materials/textures applied prior to merging and max cannot find them either because they're missing or the paths are different, an error message will pop up and you will have an option to browse the textures from a different location.

sir brods, yung file na ipinadala sa yo andun din ba yung mga materials at yung max file? kasi kung wala dun sa file yung materials at pag nag merge ka hahanapin talaga yung materials. Use Relink Bitmap, makakatulong ito sa iyo, pero dapat alam mo saan ang file folder nung mga materials para pag ni link mo sya alam mo saan siya i browse. heres the

@ sir v_wrangler..ganun nga po nangyayari, saan ko po hahanapin yung mat's eh max file lang po siya.

hingin mo sa nagbigay sa yo ng max file.
kung wala sa kanya o pinagkunan mo, then use an alternate texture or material.
