Professional GPU vs Gaming GPU
Need to decide on gpu. what are the advantages of professional gpus such as QUADRO FX and FIRE GL based on 3d applications. malaki ba yun performance gap compared sa gaming cards? i'm fond of gaming rin kasi. i'd rather buy a high end gaming card if di ganun kalaki yun performance boost ng pro gpus to gaming gpus. help me decide.

Hi there.
Choose Quadro Fx cards. If you are going to use 3DS MAX.
The developers at 3DS Max and NVidia created 3Ds MAX Performance Drivers specifically for the Quadro FX line. I'm sure they have a perfectly good reason for this collaboration. I'm not sure kung may ganun support din sa FireGl.

I use my machine heavily for 3D modeling/texturing and animation.
Quadro FX cards are hard to find in Manila.
However, if you decide to buy regular gaming cards, there is a software that utilizes GPU processing power- still in its beta stages- The octane render. Looks really promising. Click this link below:

Since your also a gamer like me its Ok to use gaming cards, I personally prefer ATI Radeon HD 5770 w/ Eyefinity, imagine 3 monitors on just 1 card, rendering on L-side, internet on the center & watching movie on the R-side, sulit yung 7K ko
