First topic message reminder :

hi mga master get ko ulit advise nyo..
my purpose: for CG rendering and anim., multi tasking)

my choices:
Nvidia GTX 275 896MB DDR3 448bit HDMI
or
ATI Powercolor HD5770 1GB DDR5 HDMI

which po is better?although mas mahal ng konti ung GTX, pero pasok parin sa budget.. nsa 10k kasi budget..

pakonti konti ng nabubuo ang CPU na inaasemble ko, (thanks to CGpinoy mas namura pero mas gumanda ang specs)
as of now nkaorder na:
intel core i7 930
Asus extreme motherboard (hindi ung rampage)
8 GB Ram
1t western HDD
1000w corsair power supply
optical drive
cooler fan

kaso wala pa casing at video card,
pero may choice na ng casing..

sir necro,
something bothering with me, is it worth to have the quadro cx? or i stick with gaming cards?
(considering the cx quadro is on sale)

i need your technical advise on this. thanks a lot!

haven't tried using quadro GPUs yet since I'm not doing 3D rendering at all. I think you try searching some reviews on the videocard, atleast 10-20 positive comments before you buy it. But if its worth your money, buy now! Very Happy

i've read at tipidpc.com regading those quadro cards, may kamahalan...30 to 40k a piece???...bibili nalang ako ng isang pc...anyway, i can still get the work done with a mid-price graphics card.

---exactamondo... I myself use an antideluvian geforce 7300gt 256mb 128bit ddr3 card and it DOES get the job done. All the best hardware available will never replace sheer raw talent. Of course I cry my heart out when I have to use it for gaming.

^ yup, alam ko mga ganun nga presyuhan nyang quadro. baka yung 30 to 40k second hand na or quite an old model.
