3max 2011 Storage Out of Memory in a brand new desktop

Just want to ask for help, my boss issue me a new desktop WINDOW 7 quadcore, 4gb ram and 512mb video card, then he install 3dmax 2011, why is it that i always have problem in memory and even if i just modelling my max stop working and shows "storage out of memory" what is the root of this problem? pls help me..

please post a screenshot of your problem and step by step description of how you got the error...have you tried posting your problem in autodesk's site?

PASENSYA NA BEGINNERS PLANG AKO DITO SA SITE, ACTUALLY ANG PROBLEM IS
EVERYTIME I RENDER OR PUTTING MATERIALS OR EVEN JUST SIMPLY MOVING AN OBJECT AN ERROR HAPPEN, 3 TYPES OF ERROR SHOWN ON MY WINDOW FIRST IS NO AVAILABLE STORAGE TO ACCOMODATE THIS COMMAND, 2ND IS FATAL ERROR: .. db 0.0 FATAL 041052: ACCESSING UNKNOWN TAG 0xb51 AND LAST MENTAL RAY HAS ENCOUNTER AN FATAL ERROR.

ganyan rig ko dati, ang ginawa kop lagi akong nagproxy from models to textures, hindi mo na ma shde mode ang models kasi mag crash agad, nag upgrade ako nang 1gb ang vd tapos 8gb yung ram, ayon medyo okay na hanggang ngayon. anyways in my humble opinion lang naman!!!

its a BUG found in 3dsmax 2011.. try to change BSP2 into BSP only you might need to test it otherwise its already been posted in autodesk bug report.
