A Villa: Interior Make over (updated 09.09.10)
First topic message reminder :
I am working on a total make over of a villa right now. The interior of the house (a 7 year old villa) will be change 95% as much as time and money constraint. The GF consists of a living, dining a guest room (converted to sitting area) and one t&b. The kitchen area, another t&b and small sitting room will be decided later on if something to be changed. For the FF, a small sitting area, the Master's bedroom + t&b, kid's room, 2 bedrooms and 2 t&b.
Since, I don't have yet the drawings (soft copy) of the Villa I started only on some areas which I find it easier for me to design and do the visuals. I also visited the place and took some photos (sorry I cannot post it now) and have discussed with the client the needs and wants.
For now, I already started with the kid's room. Actually, this is a 'teen room' concept already since their daughter wanted her room to be 'as grown-up' look na daw....not the typical kid room as existing. Another is the guest room (GF) converted to sitting/relaxing area. One side of the wall (yellow painted) is to keep it as it is. By the way, the client is a Buddhist. The other side a wall panel with a TV as proposed.
This is not a rush project, furthermore not a priority on the company's on-going project list. I am still on the search of concepts and design, especially on the rest of the areas of the Villa. Feel free to post your comments and suggestions, need it badly!
I will be updating this thread as soon as I finished other areas. Thanks for visiting.

Thanks Art and Jorge.
Here is my final design/concept of the Master Bedroom. Headboard side wall is made of mdf powder coated in white with grooves to look like tiling. An architrave wrap in wallpaper with spotlights above and a cove lighting (warm lights) below. An enclosed wooden headboard with veneered 'light cocobolo'. The other side of the wall will be the wood paneling (same light cocobolo type) with grooves. The center will be a hidden LCD a sliding panels for closure. Both sides will be mirrors for dresser.
The photo taken from here Lone tree - Malham, Yorkshire Dales credit to the photographer.

Thanks rccboinks. So far, wala na akong ginawang views/design. I have submitted already all the design to the client and fortunately may mga revisions but not much. Choice of colors lang especially sa wood and fabrics.
So far, here are the revisions....first revision.
I will post it all the revisions here.
Teen Room (daughter): change fabric colors and color pallete, updated the floor to parquet.
