Nagiging tamad na ba tayo dahil sa CGP?

Hi guys, I want to discuss this one to see how CGP is helping or not helping its members. Also, gusto ko din madiscuss bakit nagiging tamad magresearch ang ibang members.

Although our main goal is to help everyone who needs our help, pro hindi tayo spoonfeeding type of help. What we want is teaching fishermen how to fish kind of help. We teach the basic, for everyone to have a strong foundation for the future of their careers.

Kaya I made this discussion para mapagusapan natin kung nagiging tamad na nga ba tayo dahil sa ganitong klaseng tulong or hindi naman...

Isa pa pala, we also want to help members upgrade their skills para mas mapabilis ang trabaho sa office or personal work. Pero since masarap ang usapan minsan, nagiging tamad na din ba tayo pagdating sa trabaho?

My goal for discussing this ay para mabigyan natin ng solution ang mga ganitong bagay. Kung hindi man ngayon, maybe in the future.

I cannot judge you people - you have to judge yourself so I'd save my vote.

So I'd just share what I observed. Hindi man lahat, marami akong napapansin tamad. Like CGP is the only resort when problems occur. Don't think so, think CGP is your LAST RESORT. If you've exhausted all your efforts, researching and you still find yourself lost, that's the time to post and ask with humility.

Why? Because it proves that you want to learn, not to be spoonfed. It proves you have initiative and people who may have the info you want loves people who have initiative.

Isa pa, it's a good practice, cg life is not just about proxies, vray and your next-door neighbor's setting. Sooner or later in your life, you will find challenges that no one in this forum might have any help to offer you, for lack of experience or wisdom or maybe they just plainly have no time to research for you. And by then with your great effort you will be forced by the circumstances to find the answers for your own good self.

You'll thank yourself for doing so. Maybe not now but soon. Remember that cg is a neverending competition. Kung tatamad tamad kang matuto on your own (not that asking is not a form of self-education), mapapag-iwanan ka pati na rin ang iyong monthly rewards from the company you serve (dahil may mas magaling at masipag mag-aral na papalit sa Puwesto mo!)

baka excited lang siguro sa umpisa yung mga bago. but in my part lahat ng ininvite ko to join cgp ay sinasabihan ko agad na punta ka cgpinoy.org matuto ka dun. kaso lang yung iba medyo makulit lang talaga, gusto pa subuan.

Dapat siguro mag post din tayo ng words of wisdom about panu matuto at kung anu dapat ang ugali ng isang cgpians when it comes to learning new things. Sticky notes sir boks.

I agree with Sir V. Most of the time in my case, kapag wala na talaga ako mahanap saka lang ako tumatakbo sa CGP for free stuffs, etc. If hindi ko na talaga mahanapan ng sagot ang problem ko while making 3d. Saka ako nagtatanong.

And sa work naman. It is a matter of DEDICATION mo sa work mo. And besides, madelay man or not ang project na hawak mo. It is still your responsibility. Ikaw ang mapupuri kapag maaga natapos and maganda ang output. Ikaw din ang mag-sa-suffer kapag not.

I think din naman na nakukuntento na ung iba na ma spoon fed. Not exerting efforts para ma-discover and CG World. Only just to say na "Marunong na sila mag 3D".

As Sir V said, CG is a never ending process, never ending researching and learning.

madalas ata ngayon hindi na tinatanong si mr. google or si mr. F1,,,konting tiyaga lang sa pag sesearch mahahanap mo din yung sagot,,and kung wala talaga mahanap na sagot, that's the time na dapat magtanong dito sa cgp,,

napansin ko ngayon daming nagtatanong o di kaya "Help", kahit pagsearch lang sa google or yahoo hindi pa magawa.. meron din naman tayong tutorial section (just browse it, maybe you find the answer there).. hindi pwede yang spoon feeding dito, hindi tayo matututo niyan...

Haha! Isn't it funny that there are five people now who said "NO" but the posts above says mighty "YES"?

Cmon peeps, if you say "NO", say why you think so and be counted.
This isn't a fight about numbers I'm sure that at the end, it will be a good eye-opener for everyone.

yung iba YES!!!! masasabi kong hindi sila nagre research dahil yung iba paulit ulit llang din yung mga tanong nila which is tapos na yung mga topic na yun.. kumpletos recados na nga lalo na pag hahanapin mo sa helpline,tutorial, etc.... yung iba naman tanong ng tanong pero kung iisipin nating mabuti napakadali naman i research...

personaly mas ginaganahan ako lalo na kapag nakakakita ng mga malulupit na work,..
very inspiring and always determine pushing my works to the best dahil inspired sa mga magagaling na works ng mga members..

yes may mga members din na konting problem lang, post agad sa help line..
but the good thing there is once may nalaman sila, they will also share what they know to members who also needs help (including me),

so i think its a win win..

for me cgp's never been a place to be "spoon fed". oo nga sometimes i post some questions na pwedi ko naman i seach like in google or others seach engine. but the reason i've choose cgp to ask question is because mas maiindihan ko dahil i'm pretty sure na pinoy ang sasagot at hindi puro english na kung minsan e kailangan ko pang i wikipedia yung ibang terms. the thing is, cgp has made more "matyaga" in terms of doing my 3d works. why? because everytime the buksan ko browser and visit this site, i see beautiful works na gawang pinoy and thats motivates me to do as beautiful as i can. at sino po bang hindi magsasabing hindi masarap mapuri ang mga works kapag pi-nost na?

sa tingin ko nagiging tamad nga minsan. kasi this forum is the easiest way to get your possible answer, yun nga lang instead maghanap sa loob ng help line or magahanap sa google.....ayon tanung na lang ng tanung dito and sa tingin ko isang type na rin ng katamaran. i know we are kind and very willing to help people lalo na sa mga baguhan.

there are two kinds of member na medyo di ko trip tulungan. number 1, yung member panay tanung, isang tanung isang thread...hay..number 2, yung jejemon magtanung..nakakawalang gana sumagot.

okey lang maging tamad paminsan minsan but i hope they should know how to help themeselves. nakakapagod din magpaalala ng magpaalala...

hindi naman sa nagiging tamad in terms of research. mainam ito dahil isang site na lang mapagtatanungan ng bawat isa sa atin. nagbibigay din inspiration sa bawat cgp ang anumang naka-post dito. di lang yun, nagbibigay aral, tibay at tatag ng loob sa bawat isa. isa na rin itong paraan para maging competitive ang pinoy sa larangan ng 3d world/media, etc.dito naman kung ano ang nakikita lalo na ng mga beginner na gaya ko e hindi naman basta pagkain na isusubo. oo nga luto na pero kami ang maghahalo sa aming tamang panlasa. gagabayan lang kami ng mga mas may experience at may tamang mata o mas nakakaintindi kung tama ba ang aming ginagawa. malaking tulong sa bawat isa at hindi ito masasabing katamaran. isa pa, kahit ano naman ang isubo sa atin o ibigay ay nasa sa atin pa rin kung tayo ay kikilos. sa atin pa rin ang huling desisyon. kung binigyan tayo ng lahat ng kailangan natin, pero hindi natin ginawa, pinag-aralan, e dun pa lang tatawaging katamaran. tamad sa sarili. lahat ay may kani-kaniyang damdamin at pag-iisip kung kailan ito gagawa, mag-iisip, maghahanap at tutunganga. "hindi tayo nagiging tamad dahil sa CGP"...ako sa sarili ko, tamad ako.

actually mas naggigng masipag pa ako, im practicing a lot para mas matuto, marami rin akong natututunan dito at mas naiinspire po ako sa magagandang gawa ng pilipino

IMHO,, im in favor of spoon feeding info... you ask me why??? kc vray, 3dsmax, mental ray etc,,,, these are tools for visualization,,,
it will not make you a good architect(or any profession) if you know all these things.... design, creativity and ingenuity pa din ang magdadala sa iyo...
kaya hnde mo din masisi ang ibang tao kung gusto nila matutunan itong mga softwares na ito in a fast way,,, kc mas mabuti pa dn mag-focus
sa design and creativity kaysa sa rendering alone....
kaya ako ay natutuwa kpag nakikita ko ung step by step tutorials for dummies nila sir edosayla, sir bokkins at sir erick,,,, hnde sila natatakot
mag share ng nalalaman nila kc ang alam nila,,, sa design concept and creativity magkakatalo yan sa huli!!!! hehehe keep up d good work mga ser

maybe some but in my case kahit di ako nagpopost nagbabrowse lang lalo na pag meron akong di masolve sa nirirender ko, sa dami ba naman ng tutorial kahit di ka na magtatanong, at pag di mo mahanap dito punta ka sa ibang site, minsan sa youtube makakahanap din,

advice ko lang sa mga bagong tulad ko na gumagamit ng menta ray DL nyo ang mga tutorial video ni boss edosayla, matututo kayo. wag lang mag expect masyado na magandang maganda ang result kasi ang importante matuto step by step, then bahala ka nang mag experiment.
