First Full Rig
There is always a first for everything.. In my case this is my first attempt at facial animation. Still crude but I guess it's a start. Fire away your crits

oh no! you're a fast learner...i'm totally clueless about this, but this totally piqued my curiosity.
Hope to see the test animation with voice over...

Re: First Full Rig
it's quite easy. modelling the face is the only difficult part.
i think i can post a step by step tutorial ONLY after ive mastered the process.. basics pa lang alam ko eh and im sure mas maraming mas bihasa sa workflow na to.

Re: First Full Rig
looks ok na. in my opinion mas mahirap nga mag facial animation pag morph gamit mo since bawat movement kailangan modeled. na try mo na gumamit ng bones?
Re: First Full Rig
haven't tried the bones option yet. for morphing i simply made several references to represent each speech and eye movement, tapos un na ang mga morph targets ko. mukhang old school ata ang ginamit ko na method ah.. hehe.

Re: First Full Rig
well actually di pa naman ganun ka old school method ang morphing, kaso konting nalang gumagamit kasi limited yung applications
try mo to, tut ng facial rig dun sa 3d movie na "delgo"

Re: First Full Rig
Wow, this must be very fun to make. Nice facial & lip sync animation Sir! Pang music video na!
Re: First Full Rig
it is fun but tedious at the same time. rigging is a killer (or perhaps i need to practice more). those finger rigs are a pain :p
