precision modeling in maya

hi mga masters! newbie plng po ako dito s cgpinoy. pahelp lang po sana sa maya. kasi di ko lam panu magmodel na precise ung mga dimensions ng model.. tnx po ulit mga masters!!

practice.. given naman ang dimension kapag nagcreate ka ng model and puede mo ring i-modify later on.. so why its hard to model it precisely... unless you don't know the exact dimension of the object you are making. That's the real problem. Kung sa part na eto ka nahihirapan, simply observe things first and research.

Now kung ang problem mo naman it modelling itself, ahhh its the time na you have to use Maya's Help Files. Be resourceful thats all.

thnx po s reply master! apreciate it!! pro ung tanog ko po is panu ung units? maseset mo ba siya ng metric at english system? thnx po ulit!

Window => Settings/Preferences => Preferences then clicking on Settings => Working Units => Linear then change it to the units you prefer.
