can you please share your knowledge here your workflow from sketchup to max.

preserving materials, layer management etc....

Sketchup to Max Empty sir

naku e2 na kinatatakutan qo na lilipat kana...
sana maka2long to 2ro ni master chill
sketchup to max workflow....

sa su muna:
una bgo mo lagyan ng materials remember to reverse face lhat dpat white hndi ung violet..alm nyo na un...
then appalyan mo na ng materials lhat ng gusto mo dahil pag lipat sa max nyan un ang nka layer ung material...
then export 3d as 3ds...sa option "by materials" ang piliin mo,,,...wag mo na i check ung 2nd column,,,..
pati camera sasama sa max..

sa max:
import mo ung inexport mo sa su
then right click convert to vray scene mo
then f10 assign render mo ung vray...
then sa customized(sa taas banda un eh) sa user path add mo ung folder ng materials na gnamit mo sa su
...pero aqo pinapalitan qo materials sa max e...

ok na yun...sana maka2long n yun...

ung iba na ibang style post here pls...hehehe

models in ketchup
materials, camera setup, additional accessories all in max
yun lang po sir nomer.

im overwhelm with max. talagang dapat upuan. dahil sanay ako sa sketchup andoon parin ang tendencing wag na lang yata. (lalo na ngayong busy). so far hirap ako sa pagmamanage ng model kapag nasa max na.
