Always a pleasure to share these to you all. Thanks Tinay.
About house of Frank lloyd in Arizona. Are you referring to Taliesin west in Scottsdale?i think ive been there before, high school ata ako.I remember kse my sis is an architect as well and that time ala pa akong interest sa mga famous architects and i remembered we just passed by scottsdale to visit this winter house. But i never went inside the house, its just my sis and mom, sa labas lang ako together with my cousin and for me that time parang wala lng, i hope i can go back there someday.

Re: Palace of Westminster
Hello everyone. Here 's another set, might be the last set of photos i took from my last holiday. I flew from Barcelona to Bilbao just to visit this remarkable building designed by Frank Gehry. It was a very impressive building.I arrived 6am in Bilbao and took taxi to Guggenheim right away.Wala ng check in check in sa hotel.Hahahahaha.!I tried to catch sunrise but unfortunately weather in Bilbao wasnt good that time.Cloudy medyo umuulan pa. I dont know if its my luck but everytime im about to take photos of these great buildings laging natataon na masama ang panahon.Same experience before when i visited Frank Gehry's Walt Disney and Frank Lloyd Wright's Guggenheim in NYC.But anyway cant complain anymore,at least i got to see those buildings and its more than enough for me.Well i hope you guys like it.
Just a bit of Building info:
The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao is a museum of modern and contemporary art designed by Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry, built by Ferrovial[3] and located in Bilbao, Basque Country, Spain. It is built alongside the Nervion River, which runs through the city of Bilbao to the Atlantic Coast. The Guggenheim is one of several museums belonging to the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation. The museum features permanent and visiting exhibits of works by Spanish and international artists.
The curves on the building were designed to appear random. The architect has been quoted as saying that "the randomness of the curves are designed to catch the light". When it was opened to the public in 1997, it was immediately hailed as one of the world's most spectacular buildings in the style of Deconstructivism, although Gehry does not associate himself with that architectural movement. Architect Philip Johnson called it "the greatest building of our time".[4]
The museum's design and construction serve as an object lesson in Gehry's style and method. Like many of Gehry's other works, it has a structure that consists of radically sculpted, organic contours. Sited as it is in a port town, it is intended to resemble a ship. Its brilliantly reflective titanium panels resemble fish scales, echoing the other organic life (and, in particular, fish-like) forms that recur commonly in Gehry's designs, as well as the river Nervión upon which the museum sits. Also in typical Gehry fashion, the building is uniquely a product of the period's technology. Computer Aided Three Dimensional Interactive Application (CATIA) and visualizations were used heavily in the structure's design.
Computer simulations of the building's structure made it feasible to build shapes that architects of earlier eras would have found nearly impossible to construct. It is also important to note[peacock term] that while the museum is a spectacular monument from the river, at street level it is quite modest and does not overwhelm its traditional surroundings.[citation needed] The museum was opened as part of a revitalization effort for the city of Bilbao and for the Basque Country. Almost immediately after its opening, the Guggenheim Bilbao became a popular tourist attraction, drawing visitors from around the globe.[4] It was widely credited with "putting Bilbao on the map" and subsequently inspired other structures of similar design across the globe, such as the Cerritos Millennium Library in Cerritos, California.
The building was constructed on time and budget, which is rare for architecture of this type. In an interview in Harvard Design Magazine[5] Gehry explained how he did it. First, he ensured that what he calls the "organization of the artist" prevailed during construction, in order to prevent political and business interests from interfering with the design. Second, he made sure he had a detailed and realistic cost estimate before proceeding. Third, he used CATIA and close collaboration with the individual building trades to control costs during construction.
Hope you guys like them and thanks for viewing..
Here's few of my shots.Ill post more later or tomorrow.THANKS!

Hi Whey.Im using SAL11-18mm for wide, then sa mga zoom detailed shots im using 70-300G but most of the shots here are taken by my SAL16-105mm. Pero minsan i am mounting my 50mm f1.4 if i want to take some really detailed sharp shots like those shots of barcelona chair sa Museu pavello series ko.All sony lenses. Thanks!

Re: Palace of Westminster
hehehe.Hindi naman sir.Its just that dominating ang nikon dito sa Bahrain.Base lng sa nakikita kong user ha. As much as i want to recommend canon medyo may kamahalan talga dito and hindi ganun kadami ang choices lalo na sa lenses unlike nikon. As per sony naman,ok din talga ang sony Slr,ala naman akong naging complain mula nung nag start ako gumamit ng slr. Medyo hindi lng ako confident pa talga sa full frames nila. But we'll see.Hope ma improve pa nila.Actually i already asked tinay about the pricing dyan sa SG and im leaning to buy Alpha 850.The cheapest full frame ever!hahaha.Quite disappointed lng sa 3fps.but other than that i think its going to be a best buy for me.
Pero if im going to be more serious about photography,D3X is a must! The best camera ive ever seen.Monster to!I tried it as well with a mounted flash, nalaglag brief ko sa bilis!hahahahaha!

Re: Palace of Westminster
hehe nothing beats the D3X. un nga lang pang pro din ang price hehe.
i reviewed ur EXIF data for a moment akala ko naka D700 ka na.. alpha 700 pa rin pala hahaha. :p
anyway love ur shots. camera doesnt matter ika nga.. just how one makes the most out of it. i think ung mga highend is only suitable for really pro stuff like sports, low light (events) and fashion stuff. for travel and landscapes you cant ask for more than what you already have.

Thanks sir Celes..!Yes i think those highend cameras is really for pros. Lalo na dun sa mga high iso shooter and high fps. But sometimes parang ang sarap talgang magkaroon ng D3x or D3s.hehehehe.Last time na nahawakan ko parang naka glue na sa kamay ko e!Ayaw ko na bitiwan.hehehe.Pangarap na lng talga. Ill stick with my cam for a while,im sure may maganda pang lalabas na hindi ganun kamahal.

Here's another set.I ll stop my guggenheim series for a while.Ang dami kse and naging busy na ko with some other stuff. While editing my multiply account i stumble with these old shots. I think i havent shared them before pero baka yung iba na share ko na din. But anyway here are some of my photos of the Louvre by I.M. Pei.
The Louvre
Architect: Ieoh Ming Pei
Paris,France
Nov 2009
The Louvre Pyramid (Pyramide du Louvre) is a large glass and metal pyramid, surrounded by three smaller pyramids, in the main courtyard (Cour Napoleon) of the Louvre Palace (Palais du Louvre) in Paris. The large pyramid serves as the main entrance to the Louvre Museum. Completed in 1989,it has become a landmark of the city of Paris.
Commissioned by the President of France François Mitterrand in 1984, it was designed by the architect I. M. Pei, who is responsible for the design of the Miho Museum in Japan among others. The structure, which was constructed entirely with glass segments, reaches a height of 20.6 metres (about 70 feet); its square base has sides of 35 metres (115 ft). It consists of 603 rhombus-shaped and 70 triangular glass segments.[2]
The pyramid structure was engineered by Nicolet Chartrand Knoll Ltd. of Montreal (Pyramid structure / Design Consultant) and Rice Francis Ritchie (also known as RFR) of Paris (Pyramid Structure / Construction Phase).
The pyramid and the underground lobby beneath it were created because of a series of problems with the Louvre's original main entrance, which could no longer handle an enormous number of visitors on an everyday basis. Visitors entering through the pyramid descend into the spacious lobby then re-ascend into the main Louvre buildings. Several other museums have duplicated this concept, most notably the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. The construction work on the pyramid base and underground lobby was carried out by the Vinci construction company.
