@ master Celes; isn't a bit sharp?..
you may be asking if i was suggesting "unsharp mask" as to "un-sharp" or blur.. that unsharp mask feature is really meant to "sharpen" but in a controlled manner.
Nope I got it the first time you mentioned it mein freund... Unsharp mask; its what ive been using the past 3 or 4 personal threads... Kinda magical in a way... For me though coz I'm a complete dodo whe it comes to post processing...
Di naman siguro OT dahil relevant pa naman sa topic diba?...

quite weird, it took me 5 hours to render this, in VFB, i think i should just disable max autosave image feature in the render tab to make it render faster...or maybe someone here can enlighten me more on this. I notice, that if i just manually save my output on vray's frame buffer, i can render it a lesser time frame, as per my observation.
Or perhaps, because of cranking up my global subdivision multiplier from 1.0 to 2.0, it drastically, jacked up my render time. Maybe some of the experts here can give me some inputs, technical or otherwise.
@sir cloud: salamat sir,i also see you work as a reference. Natulog na ako after hitting shift+q, and fortunately i woke up at 3 a.m., and noticed the render was about to be finished, so i decided to continue with my reading, while waiting for the brew to be cooked so to speak.

Salamat padi. Gagawin ko pa yung iba. konti lang naman exterior renders ko, kaya eto, humahabol, kasi, mas sanay akong mag interior kaysa exterior.

the update is better, but i kinda like the tonality (esp the wood finish) of the other one. but, the latest one is cleaner. i gave u the PSD right? just drag the curve adjustment layer to your new image.
speed has nothing to do with the autosave feature ed. better leave it on, lest it renders then you accidentally close it down - poof 5 hours gone to waste.
the higher resolution you go, the lesser settings you need really, because the image size compensates for this. hell, i tried rendering in bucket mode out of desperation before but since it was 6000 px, it wasnt noticeable . so keep the subd mult to only 1.0 and 8 minimum, it wouldnt make a difference. you can even set your primary bounce to only low.

I see, glad you liked it, tep, i have the PSD, i will look for it somewhere, i am kinda forgetting where i placed it. but it's just around the heap of files on my hard drive. I guess the factor that resulted to a cleaner image, was the fact that i rendered it at a higher resolution this time. Therefore upon compressing the image to 1024pixels, i guess it retained that clear quality.

I see, i have'nt tried saving it to the vray frame buffer's default format just yet, i think i will give it a shot and see how it works.

Texts in green is my answer to your reply sir mushroom. I will post the settings tonight, and hope to add another image, if time permits. I'll just sleep through the renders again, or do my readings.
Let's all learn together, friends.

With all due respect master Ladiesman, I've been very tactful in trying to point out your ineptitude from differentiating lighting from lightNing...
Mabait pa po ako nyan sir believe me...
Hilig mo pang magpalusot. Lumulutang na bag... Dito sa min tawag dyan begukan a borbolen... Magsasa..
