Re: Retail Booth
astig, may pa bevel bevel na si mam kettlerenderer!
I'd suggest changing the IOR of the glass panels so they look prominently glass than the areas without it.
Been awhile since I saw your renders.

Re: Retail Booth
i'd go for the black design.
yun IOR ay short for index of refraction...hayaan natin si kuya v mag explain, siya ang mas-dalubhasa pagdating sa 3dsmax.

Re: Retail Booth
Pahabol ate leslie:)
Sometimes ang ginagawa ko pag may objects behind glass, inilalagay ko intentionally ang part ng object behind glass and the rest sa walang glass so you will see the object behind bending or distorted in the glass areas and unaffected where there are no refractive object infront of it.
It is just one way to effectively enhance your materials like glasses which depend on the reflected environment and the objects behind it if it is transparent and reflective. Visual clues are what we need in cg - hindi naman po sa setting ng materials lang nagbibigay ng realism, kasam na po dyan of course kung saang situation mo ilalagay o gagamitin. In this case, alam natin subconsciously how objects inside glasses behave so if we mimic that in cg - it will match with this experience and we automatically feel that its indeed glass or plastic or even metal.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_refractive_indices
