RIGS CHAOS!

NEED HELP!
my set up:

CPU: AMD QUAD CORE Phenom 2.5ghz Black Edition
MoBo: ASUS M3A32-MVP deluxe
RAM: kingston 2x 2gb ddr2 = 4GB
GPU: Ati Radeon 3870 512MB DDR5
FAN: 3 chasis fan, stock asus cpu fan

OS: Windows XP sp3
MAX 2009 vray 1.5 sp2

PROB: vray crashing during render at 3sec.
max editor nag hahung during editing.

any suggestion,pls prompt! thanx!

factor to reconsider

graphic driver: switch between each graphic driver ( open gl, software, direct 3d)

bitmap pager: alot a higher memory on bitmap pager, memory pool, bitmap threshold.

and more , post mo lang specific scenario...

nag hahung yung material editor ko during assigning of vray as renderer.
nagcrash din yung vray during rendering @ 3secs.
with error prompt (error 10061)
i try several times installing the OS xp sp3 max 2009 vray 1.5 sp2,but still the same. i tried also using max2008 vray 1.5 rc5 and rc3.

is it the hadware? or the software?
need help!

sir try nyo po palit ng os!try nyo po mag sp2 lang or vista po kayo 64bit! pero try nyo po sp2 lang na xp!

i was planning to change to max 2009 kaso ng ginamit ko na cya as in super bagal niya at parang nagloloko so i have to return to max 9 mas ok pa cya.

my rig is AMD phenom
8 GB ram
xp professional sp2 64 bit OS ko po.

I thinks the problem is from vray 1.5 sp2......I had the same problem before with system config lower than yours......I want to switch to max 2009 with vray 1.5 sp2, I tried it for a couple of weeks and the system crashing always happen..........I decided to return back using my good 'ol max 9 with vray rc5 and it works like a charm! because max 9 and vray rc5 is very stable.......God Bless

nag-ooverclocking ka ba using AI booster?

same lang tau ng problema ko noon..dati ganyan un akin nun naka-overclock ako using AI booster...nun uninstall ko un program then do normal overclocking using bios umayos lahat..pero ngaun naka-normal lahat ng settings ko no overclocking..di naman kelangan ng 3dmax...
