xref

pahelp naman po tungkol s xref... diba ang xref dapat s mga may network... mapapabilis ba ang trabaho kapag magisa lang tapos gagamit ka ng xref..

- xref stands for external references and can be used even without the network.

- depende sa workflow mo sir. just try it and you will know. im using it for quite long time, basta maganda at organized ang layering mo. kapag may revision ka sa base plan at naka-exref eto to all your drawings ( electrical, mechanical, sanitary and more) automatic mag-uupdate ang mga baseplans ng mga iyon. anyway try it muna.

meron kasi kami pinagawa s iba naka xref cla pero interior lang nman blowup plans lang ala n sakop dun ung mga sanitary mechanical at electrical...nung binigay nila s amin ung file ang gulo ndi makta puro text lang nakalabas.. diba dapat nakabind un kapag binibigay s amin para ala na komplikado..
ndi kasi ako gaano marunong s xref eh....puro layering lang ako eh tapos block at refedit.... para dun s pagedit ng plans kng sakali may revision... thanks po ng marami....

supposedly the xref file was given to you with the file or they bind it first..anyway at least you know it. good luck

sir kung puro text o hindi nakikita ang laman ng drawing nyo malamang hindi nasama ang xref or base file sa folder na pinaglagyan mo..better to organize your drawings..its safer to put all the necessary files in 1 folder especially if your using xrefs..for example:

if sheet A2 has X1 for reference, make sure you put X1 in the same folder as sheet A2 or else autocad wont load your xref..

its possible the text that appeared was the location of the xref file, that's why you dont see it..

ung pina outsource namin ndi naglagay...diba kapag ibibgay s amin ung dwg file dapat naka bind na lahat para alang problema kapag binuksan namin...

just follow rendermaster, ask them to bind the referenced files (xref files)... or they should have given you a folder of the referenced files...

yung sinasabi mong naka-network, pwede rin yun... usually may designated PC/ server kayo na dun nyo sinasave yung mga standard details, na pauli-ulit ginagamit sa inyong mga drawings... so kahit sino man sa network maka-access sa data...
