My email was hacked!!!

To all CGPians who received an email came from me regarding trading sites, please ignore this unauthorized mail...my email was hacked and used in a illegal manner. I just want to warned everybody to be aware...Take care and God Bless

can you tell us how it got hacked? mine was hacked almost 2 years ago by some scammer..

there a software for hacking kaya dali lang nila mahack gusto nila email ads. take care sa lahat.dont give your details to net.

tsk... this is the reason why binago ko ang mga accounts ko.

hassle at nakakatakot kasi ng mangyari sa akin to lahat ng email ko hindi narereceive ng mga nasa list ko and meron silang narereceive na email na hindi naman ako ang nagsend pero account ko ang gamit. and worst, pag nagsend sila ng email hindi ko narereceive, ung naghacked ang nakakareceive at nakakabasa kasi nga cloned na ung gamit ko.

nung una pinalitan ko ang password ko. pero to no avail wala ring nagawa ung new password kaya i decided to create a new one and deactivate ang dati.

pero ngayon 1000000 na ung character ng password ko ewan ko lang kung makuha pa nya hehehe

Hay naku ewan ko kung paano maiiwasan to?? they are really smart and clever...gingamit nila yun sa masamang paraan...anyway.....lucky napalitan ko pa password ko at na-retrieve ko pa yung email account ko...ingat-ingat lang...este ako pala...

tip lang po mga sir, pra ma prevent po ung nakawan ng email..
pls use capital letters mix with numbers and characters like (= , + @ # $ etc ) in your password.mahirap po kc i-hack o nakawin ang merong characters sa inyong password

simple lang advice sakin ng mga IT brods:
- don't open suspicious email attachments, specially *.exe files. if opening MS Word or Excell attachments, talk to the person who send it and verify if the file really comes from her.
- use Firefox for browsing. maraming galit sa Microsoft kaya dyan mostly ang attacks at hackings
- ignore Facebook apps like Mafia, Farmville, etc. there are apps that asks permissions if it could gain access to your profile info, etc. once you give permission, its like opening a can of worms.
- make it a habit to clear your browser's cache at the end of the day, who knows may ibang tao sa opis na may galit sa iyo at may maitim na kapangyarihan =)
- kung nasa internet cafe kayo, hwag nalang magbukas ng mga emails or anything that requires to key in your passwords.
- don't save password infos in your machine, if you send it for repair then you are vulnerable
- been using Antivir (free) antivirus program for years (plus my internet router that comes with a firewall) and have no problems so far. if you practice all of the above, then you don't need to buy antivirus softwares that promises better shield from viruses, worms, etc.

bro are you sure characters like you've stated are allowed to be use as entities on a password? i highly doubted it.

yup bro im sure pd ang characters sa password.kc i have been to cracking passwords before, mahirap po kc i-crack ang maraming characters and mahabang pw it takes time. .saka ingat din po sa fake log in just like sir tutik stated.para malaman nyo po n fake log in ung ginamit, lalabas po ung site kng san klangan mag sign in ka ng email add m saka password, pagkatapos m mag log in lalabas syntax error.meaning mag lolog-in k uli kc nag error, gawin nyo po ngyn mag change passwrod n po kau kc fake log in po un.
