Qualifications:
-must be B.S Architecture / Interior Design graduate (with or w/o experience)
-must know how to use CAD, Sketchup, 3Dmax, PS and other presentation software
-must be familiar with MS Office Programs : excel, word, powerpoint, etc...
-must be willing to work in Ortigas Pasig

Scope of Works:
-in charge in making CAD plans, elev, sections and other sheets required for construction
-in charge in making 3D presentations
-in charge in making estimates (rough), Bill of Quantities and other contract docs requirements
-sometimes makes site inspections

Do you really know what the term multi tasking, ikaw lang ang talo sa multi tasking. better to work with americans if your an architect ur an architect, ur a janitor ur a janitor because their motto is wag mong sakupin lahat give others a chance to have a work that is really fitting to their specialization. for them multi-tasking is an act of selfishness. kaya ka hinire as cad operator for cad operator not to the QS works at kaya ka nga hinire as architect to do architects work not to do admins work. Believe me I experienced it all. akala mo nageexcel ka sa but no because your already out of line and to the matter of fact we are not helping other people who do not have a work and need to have work because we ate already all the jobs that were supposed to give them or that suites them.

Ng una natutuwa ako kasi i learned a new experienced i started from manual drafting and now im handling 7 jobsite documents but the position that i applied is 3D renderer. Multi tasking yah right kasi hanggang sa pagtimpla ng kape ng amo ko sa akin. ha ha ha.... Now me and my coleague engineers who's doing multi tasking feel so sorry kasi na out of line na kami although construction work pa rin kami. kasi hindi na kami nakatulong sa mga nangangailan ng work at the same time na out of line na kami. Any these is only for my point of view and guys try to resist sometimes if their asking you favor to do things that you were not supposed to do kasi aabusuhin lang nila kayo mas lalo na dahil alam naman natin na magagaling tayong mga pinoy we excel a lot from others. give others a chance to have a work that fit them. Tama ka Sir, nagyari din sa akin yan, nagtrabaho ako sa isang consulting firm dito sa Saudi for almost 3yrs ng sa akin lahat, nag-iisa lang akong Pilipino dun. Mula sa architectural preliminary drawings and design proposal, electrical and mechanical drawings, Estimates pati na rin pagpasa ng drawing sa baladiya, site inspection, pag submit ng parcel and drawings sa amana haay pati mapinfo akin parin, at dahil consulting firm nakaarabic lahat yun, hayon hanggang narealize ko na Sobra na at tama na, pero nagpapasalamat din ako ako at nakatulong yung may-ari sa akin upang maaprobahan ang apprenticeship ko dito at thesis, nakagraduate ako ng wala sa pinas hehehe... at ngayon nakahired sila ng brother mula sa pinas ng umalis ako. dapat bigyan din natin ng pagkakataon ang iba yun lang...

OT:Tama ka bro...this multi tasking is for starters only,like what you've said aabusohin ka nila,masyado kasing mabait ang pinoy.depende din sa employer kung mautak euutilize ka maigi...ung iba naman pag cad ka cad ka lang.pero kung nghahanap ka ng matinding experience ok itong work na ito.

multi tasking...its better to start talaga sa ganyan....i agree kay sir jenaro...nice na gwin yan sa pinas...paalala lang..wag mo lang masyadong ipakita lakas mo sa labas ng bansa...kac talo ka...ka2lad d2 sa M.E. maraming abusado at seloso na di natin kalahi..watch out lang...bigay mo lang talent mo sa nararapat na tao...reserba or bala kung baga...hehehhe...and lastly kung naexperince mo na yan lahat...try to play wth the offer na..ok..

my advice if you are still young and raring to go, go for jobs like this. iba tlga pag ang foundation mo is solid and madami pang tasks.. matetest ang skills mo and you will have more options to choose which path you will take. kahit sa architecture maraming pwedeng ispecialize.. u could aim to be a cad manager or a concept designer or a 3d specialist or a project manager.. the thing is you won't know it until you've tried everything. and each knowledge brings an edge to your end career anyway.

OT:wow,6000 for 6mos?lupit naman ng inaplyan mo na company bro,he2,but for me,nag trabaho ako nuon sa may ortigas,dyan sa pasig,ok naman yong sweldohan nila,para sa isang baguhan, well kung single ka mapagkakasya mo un and take note "ortigas" madaming well-developed company dyan,kahit pa mostly mga private,at maganda din naman ang multi tasking?
Doon sa unang work ko dyan sa ortigas,nagmumulti-tasking ako nuon,drafting(vectorworks program),designing,officework,site inspection,at hjgit sa lahat,mga manual scheme na perspective,sinasabay ko nuon mag aral sa rendering,habang nagmamanual drawing,until now nagmumulti-tasking pa rin ako, boring kasi pag isa lang ginagawa mo and for me maganda ang ganitong unang sabak,iexperience mo na ng maaga ang mga dapat mong maexperience para di ka na mabigla pag nasa rurok ka na ng tagumpay,ok ito sa mga fresh graduate,para mas lalo pang madagdagan ang skills at experience at magpahanggang sa ngayon,gusto ko ulit maexperience yong naexperience ko nuon dyan pa ko sa ortigas nagtatrabaho,goodluck sa mahahire dito,kaya mo yan!be patience!

kung gusto niyo magwork forever under firms and companies eh di feel free na iwasan mga ganyang work. kung nagbabalak ka magsariling trabaho na architect eh malaking tulong yang ganyang job experience.specialized jobs would leave some void sa experience mo lalo na kung magsastart ka na na sarili mo... yun lang sa akin... kanya kanyang diskarte sa buhay yan

at tungkol sa wages... naalala ko waaay below minimum yung sweldo ko nun.... 100 a day yung apprentice allowance ko, eh ultimo karatula ng "no smoking" sa site ako gumagawa XD... tama si thur zerreitug di dapat payag below minimum... may batas tayo against that.

added note: siguraduhin niyo lang di mangyayari sa inyo yung nangyaring problema ni Adam Sandler sa Click... eheheh

agree! wag mo ibigay lahat ng talent mo. ibigay mo sya sa deserving mag bigay ng para sa pinaghirapan mo, but this is a good experienced kasi halos lahat naman tayo dumaan sa ganitong situation na multi-tasling

good day mga ka cg pips... matagal na rin ako di nakadalaw... makisali muna sa discussion nyo...

actually na experience ko rin ang multi-task sa opis na pinangalingan ko dati. Experience wise, maganda kasi madami ka matutunan. Actually nong ka papasa ko lang sa board exam non 2 companies ang kumukuha sa akin. Yong isa government opis pero mas malaki ang bigay at ang isa naman kilalang Archl firm in Makati pero maliit ang sahod. Mas pinili ko ang Archl firm kahit mas maliit ang bigay. Katwiran ko noon binata pa naman ako kaya ok lang at experience muna ang habol ko. I work on that opis for almost 5 yrs doing multi-task hanggang may kumuha uli sakin na isang company na mas malupit ang multi-task. Andyan ang maging Designer at kailangan magdrafting din pag apurahan submission, specs writer, mag handle ng mga bid documents at iba ibang correspondence. Pag opis namin ang CM, kailangan gampanan ang Construction Management works. Mag preside sa meeting, gumawa minutes of mtng, progress reports, evaluation of progress billing at kung ano ano pang mga documentations. Ang problema wala secretary. pati pag type kailangan kami pa gagawa pati mga xerox. Pag opis naman namin ang contractor, andyan ang site supervision, purhasing ng material at pag minalas malas ka pa pati payroll ikaw pa gagawa. Kaya nga minsan hanggang sa higaan iniisip pa rin ang unang gagawin kinabukasan. Time mangement ika nga...hehehe

Anyway, para sa akin, bandang huli doon mo mahaharvest ang mga pinaghirapan mo sa umpisa. Sa panahon ngayon matindi ang competition sa pag hanap trabaho. Nasa survival mode tayo ngayon. Sa mga companies ngayon, nagtitipid din. Kukuha sila ng mga apllicants na 3 in 1. Kung kayang gawin ng isang staff ang tatlong trabaho, bakit pa sila kukuha ng 3 staff para gampanan ang 3 separate na trabaho. Yan ang typical na consideration ng mga employers sa pag hire ng applicant. Well, nasa applicant na lang yon kung tatanggapin nya ang ganong klaseng trabaho lalo na pag less compensated base sa mga ginagawa nya.

IMO, sa panahon ngayon, pag madami ka susi na dala, mas madami ka pinto na mabubuksan. Sa madaling salita, pag mas madami ka alam the more chance na ma hire ka.
