I'm using 3dsmax design 2009.. the problem ism for example i have a box, then convert ko to editable poly, select ko lahat ng faces den flip, bakit hindi nagiging color black?? nahihirapan tuloy akong malaman san ang normal face ng object.. help naman po sa settings para maayos ito.. salamat po mga masters..

when i apply a material naman, then test render, lahat ng sides may material, panu ba mag set ng normal face?? pls..

If all you want is to find out where the normals are facing, check the "Show Normals" option in the Face/Polygon subo-bject mode. You might want to use a higher scale to see the blue lines.

There are two reasons why a polygon will show both sides during renders and in the viewport:

1. For viewports: The object propoerties' Backface Cull was unchecked
2. For renders: you have a 2-sided material applied to the polygon

sir v_wrangler.. ok na po yung sa render, pero san po ba makikita specifically yung "Show Normals" option in the Face/Polygon sub-object mode. ??
