How do you make components VRay ready?

Tried saving configured materials on a component but when you load it on another model the settings are gone.

if the model has texture (bitmap) vray has difculy in finding the material, you need to relink them. at the moment vraysketchup doest not support pack scene so that it is easy to share them from one computer to another. Components using procedural materials and without bitmaps loads well.

papano po ba maayos na work flow? kasi po nahihirapan ako pagnaglalagay na ng entourage...ang bagal gumagapang na yun laptop ko. iniisip ko ba normal lang ba yun kahet naka i7 na may 4gb ram? pag naging 8gb ba hinde na gagapang? salamat po.

*maybe mababa pa ang video card mo.
*you can also hide those high poly objects in your scene para di "gumapang"
*baka naka 64 bit ang OS mo, sketchup works better in 32 bit.

2gb po video card ko...64 bit nga os. hinde ba dapat mas bibilis siya sa 64 bit?

sir...tanong ko lang po paano itataas ang resolution pag final render na,doon po ba sa output?kasi po 2048x807 na pero di parin po detalyado.sana po matulungan nio ako rito.salamat po.

Sir paano po ba gumawa ng realistic na Car? Tsaka saan po kaya makakakuha ng mga magagandang model ng Cars?

Gusto ko po kasi sana palitan yung Car ko dito sa gawa ko. Thanks.

hello po..i just want to ask how to use displacement... i tried used it po with one material and it works, but when i add another material to the scene the displacement won't work anymore..

under option -->> Displacement, check if it is activated. its global.

Yes sir, na sa output option.
But there are lot of things to consider, models - how detailed is your model, texture - resolution matters, material settings - consider the blur option of the textures.... this is just some of it. try to read vray manual for Sketch Up for some more details.

bakit po pagrender ko sa sketchup nawawala yung ibang objects kagaya ng windows etc?

bawal po ba may kanya kanyang group ang windows, doors at walls?

papaano po ba makikita yung eksaktong nahahagip ng camera sa sketchup kagaya po sa 3ds max just press SHIFT + F?

bago lang po kasi ako sa sketchup.

Ang bump po ba sa sketchup at 3ds max magkaiba?

meaning sa 3ds max kasi copy mo lang yung diffuse image sa bumb automatic na naka grayscale yung image na kinopya sa diffuse image


sa sketchup po ba kailangan black and white yung image na i-aapply mo sa bump?
kung colored image di makikita ang bump?

pareho lang na dapat monochrome ang image as bump both on max-vray and su-vray.. or you may use normal bump.. you may also use colored pero hindi ganun ka effective..
