Re: ala jap bedroom..
Research. Reseach. That's the basic problem I see in most of the images here. Let us not underestimate the intelligence of our viewers.
This looks more like a thai or indian motiff. Definitely not Japanese if you meant Japanese for Jap (what a word!)
For tatamis, it's meant not for shoes, because it is made of straw - so Japanese people usually walk on them barefoot or with clean socks - tatami is synonymous to cleanliness. Also, we usually sleep on them, not put heavy beds because they are usually soft and fragile.
Design wise, I do not like the glass ceilings, it will be too hot during summers, it will be too bright during day time. Have you thought about slanted roofings? or small openings?
Rendering? I leave that to the others.

Re: ala jap bedroom..
Good set.
Let me add a few comments of my own: It needs a little touch of Photoshop to brighten up the scene. It's a bit too dark. And I don't know why the tree on the background is stretched-out. One more thing, isn't the wicker hamper too big by the side of the bed?

Re: ala jap bedroom..
I would love to write everything in tagalog, unfortunately I'm not so good with speed, and it would probably take me thrice the time than I write in my broken english. I can write in seconds using Japanese though. But then again noone would understand. I agree with the darkness but I stand by the issues of utmost priority. re: research.

OT: It humors me when you do reply in tagalog. I'm a fan. Heck, if you own a personal blog i'd be reading it everytime.
Back on topic. Research. I would have to agree.

Re: ala jap bedroom..
