first in front viewport i've created a spline


then i select the vertices and made it smooth



and in modifier tab
i tick the enable in renderer and enable in viewport,the thickness can be adjusted depending how big is your model

and applied a meshsmooth modifier

and i put a checker map in displacement slot




then you can apply a uvw or unwrapped uvw to adjust the checker map,
