I agree, but I think you could do better, any construction worker na walang formal education could do this. And soon you will call yourself an architect, yet you come up with this "good idea". Should protect it somehow. or find alternative materials. something that's check to reproduce.
Sa unang tingin palang, this is the easiest way out. para maipass lang. Don't be safe, be creative.
Wag mo sana masamain ito bro. But rather think about it. Good luck.
Re: housing for the victims of TYPHOON
Good luck...

Re: housing for the victims of TYPHOON

Re: housing for the victims of TYPHOON
I check on this again bro para makacontribute din. sorry sa reaction ko.
1. tama nga lower the pitch of the roof para makatipid pa ng konti.
2. try to do without the gutters para mas tipid pa lalo. It will not be a problem sa ulan since konting area lang naman yan na ididrain.
3. Try to plaster or look for alternative materials for you walls. plastering could mean better protection for your hollow blocks, meaning mas tatagal sya than exposed.
4. redesign your casement window. or use jalousie windows, it's the cheapest still.

salamat sir..
