Anyway, to get you started. I will introduce you to sketchup, it's the easiest to learn and has a free version + a tutorial. You can download it here >>> http://sketchup.google.com/download/
Now, give it a try.
But if you don't like how it works, I suggest you try 3ds max.

And when inside 3ds max, just press F1 or click help menu to get you started. good luck!
