"Goodbye King Philip"

Mga master i would like to know your opinion with this one. I want to hear opinions of people who are more matured and much more wiser than we students with these topic concerning all of us Filipinos.
This was given to us by our instructor as requirement for Theory of Architecture and here it is.......

"For "filipinos" who love their country with a conscience. who think it's high time to discard the colonial name. time to stop pledging allegiance to that king who did not even step into these enchanted islands.

It is also a discussion group for everything "filipino" and what makes us 80 million or so earthlings from these enchanted islands different from the rest. All you culture vultures may contribute to making this egroup a venue for enlightenment for us unique people to cultural (and therefore economic) salvation. I LOVE THIS COUNTRY SO MUCH THAT I HATE BEING CALLED A FILIPINO!!!!!!"

no, changing its name will not lead to progress,, the name Pilipinas doesnt appear problematic to me

yun nga rin ang post ko sa page nito eh,,,sabi ko dun philippines would undergo a "Identity Crisis"....
Ewan ko ba dun sa prof ko..sya payag sya makapilipinas dw kasi sya...kya nya ginawa tong blog na to and he required as to join for us to have our midterm grade via email hehhehehheh sigh........

malaking problema pa yan eh, unahin nalang ang major problems ng bansa at iyon ang corruption and poverty.

sorry kala ko literal na kwentuhan,history kasi un ang legitimate na kwentuhan talaga.but theory un ung fundamentals ng architecture. for example ung history ni ganito kinukwento ng titser,kaya nga history of architecture ang nakakantok sometimes kc puro kwento ng history,history means kwento pangalan pa lang eh alam mo na ng kwento,nyahahhaha

Yung history bro, hindi pwedeng kwentuhan yun kasi fact yun.

Yung theory, kwentuhan talaga yun kasi opinionated topic yun eh.

matagal nang gustong palitan yung pangalan nang pilipinas nang mga politiko dati pa,naalala ko gusto pa nga dapat e MAHARLIKA ang pangalan ipapalit dito e,may nabasa naman ako na gustong gawing MALAYSIA sana ang panagalan kaso naunahan lang tayo nang malaysia ngayon,hehehe.Kaya siguro gustong palitan yung pangalan e baka naniniwala yung mga ibang politiko sa pongsuy,hehehe,nakaakibat ang malas at swerte sa pangalan kaya ganun,halimbawa na swerteng pangalan e manny pacquiao,tunog money pakyaw e,hehehe.pero kung ako tatanungin e..... WAG NA LANG!!! wala lang siguro magawa yun kung sino mang poltiko yun o mambabatas,kaya nya naisip yun.mga wala ring silbi mga tao na yun,hehehe
