Struggling Artist

Drawing ko to last month,
resulta ng frustrations at mga problema sa buhay at career,
sana magustuhan niyo.
nilinis ko yung gilid sa photoshop.
*ballpoint pen (pilot)

pre, bilib ako sa technique and concepts mo... pang obra! sana mgkaroon ka ng big break sa ganitong klase ng art mo... it's only a matter of time na try mo mgfocus s unique style mo, for sure you'll be on top in no time! All the best sa yo! nakikita ko ksi sa yo ang potentials gya ng kay sir jeff MD... paadvise tayo... he may have some tips for a good career path for artists like us.

for me i think it's too weird naman, pero dont worry im sure ako lng naman ang nakakaisip ng ganun tungkol sa gawa mo.. di ko kasi ma-gets ung meaning lalo na't puring-puri ka sa replies nila.. it's sad di ko kasi makita ung "ganda" ng work unlike the other posters.. it's the same thing i feel kapag naglalakad ako sa arts section sa megamall at nakakakita ng abstract etc paintings..

akira, bro! you have your own opinion and it's nice to hear that aside from the fact that it's a negative comment or a real critique, still u were able to give your message in a very nice way, with respect and courteous. Anyway, just to explain a bit about this art, I think it's a very usual style that some people just do not know or just can't describe. This art in my own opinion or to the best of my knowledge is a conceptual and representational mixed type of art... it's not even an abstract. But of course you were right to have said it's weird which is supposed to be, as it's not a realistic type of art as well so the interpretation tends lead the artist and even the viewer in a different world far beyond the real one... so feeling the weirdness of this art just shows how effective and touchy this piece is, at least to you in that sense... hehehe ang gulo ko na anyway, just to share, I myself am not really appreciative of abstract... but just like anyone else, it's just me, in my own opinion, abstract artists only tend to hide their crooked skill in this type of art, because they couldn't possibly draw or paint a more accurate, proportion or realistic state of the real world!

Again, this is just a share of a bit of what I know about ARTS!!!

The power of imagination..... none typical..... from the eye mo an artist.... the potential.... creativeness.... where you don't rely for the computer to show the shades... the light..... the texture....... thats great......

@akira- nauunawaan kita ganyan din ako minsan, pero wag kang makulong sa genre at style na gusto mo lang, parang music lang yan , kung di mo type ang isang genre ok lang yun pero kelangan mo sila irespeto.
pag naapreciate mo yung maraming bagay lalo na sa sining simple man to
o komplikado mas madali kang matututo.mas madami kang naapreciate mas lalawak pangunawa mo sa mga bagay bagay.
macabre na may halong surrealism yung tawag sa style na to, pen and ink .
