Please help me po.Im trying to improve my skills in rendering po.Im sing SU for modelling max for mapping (not yet expert) and max vray po for rendering.
based on sir chillrenders video tutorial:
1. heres my model in Sketch Up interface

2. ready to import my model on 3dmax heres the setting

4. Materials exported (renamed on SketchUp material editor

5. Materials on scene (n confused po ako kasi dami naka multi sub object)inapply ko nalang po ung named mats

6. Setting na ginalaw ko sa max rendering (vray settings) not yet expert on this area.environment used is max default bg

no post production po.
its obvoius na po di papoko expert. i dont know po how to solve the problems present in this image please help me po especially on setting set ups.thank you po.C & Cs.

dagdagan mo nlng ng light yan bro. direct light or vray sun. as i can see in your wireframe standard cam lang ata ang meron.

browse mo na lng yung tutorial section ng vray. para mas maliwanagan ka. keep it up thumbsup

for the materials, repath mo lang.
- go to Customize
- then Configure User path
- then External Files, hit add and look where your SU materiasl located
- Hit use path, ok, then restart Max

You can adjust your materials / settings as suggest above....

but am sure end of the day, (the objective) is to create a nice image....
try picking-up / use Photoshop... sometimes (if not most of the time), it's good for quicker fixing of colors, adding elements.

ive changed the bg para mas malinis tingnan.now ive seen the difference from the image ive posted earlier.

ang tanong ko lang po ngayon is kung pano po aaplyan ng reflect ung windows and other glass materials here po?di ko pop kasi alam ang process, also ung bump maps di po nagbabago. at gusto ko papo malaman mga dapat iimprove ng image na ito po. sa settings man po, sa modelling, post production etc(brightness/contrast, lens flare, and sharpen edges lang po kasi alam ko sa ps cs3 mga sir!

tol i suggest mag layers ka na lang, then sa max ka na lang mag materials, para kahit dika na magrerepath... nice improvement from the start, keep it up!!!

tol mali pa export mo as 3ds dapat hindi full hierarchy dapat by materials...tapos chek mo ang 2 box sa itaas then oks na yan ito ym ko vhin042003 add mo ko then reremote ko pc mo

oo buti nakita mo ung full herirachy ah?inulit ko nga ung video ni chillrender nkita ko namiss ko nga pala plitan un ng by material.

ah ganun ba tol?
ang ginalaw ko tol sa max is ung omni light at adjustments.
di ko na ni uvw map kasi ok namn na ka import ko. ano p dapat ko gawin bro?
