Xbox 360 Elite vs. PS3

Which is better? Xbox 360 elite or PS3? Maraming games ang Xbox 360 kesa sa PS3. Help naman po sa pagpili. hehe Nagbabalak kasi umili ng console. Hindi ako makapagdecide if alin sa dalawa na to ang mas ok ang mga games. Advice naman po sa mga gamers diyan.

for me it really depends on the type of games u are willing to go for....both are great console...xbox has plenty of games already available because it was released earlier...PS3 however is a pretty strong console, has not yet reached its full potential. It has a Bluray, storage upgrade is so easy and cheap, exclusives are specially my type...I really love MGS4(reason i bought my ps3), Infamous, Killzone 2, Uncharted, Little big planet..and my GOD OF WAR...

im not hitting the 360, but i guess i was not really a fan of the exclusives they had to offer...the only one i like in the exclusives of xbox was the gears of war...but wen i played the killzone 2, i totally forgot gears of war

other than that, sooner or later, we will have games in 60 frames per second...Bluray disk are the ones capable of this feature, DVD can only go 30 frames per second.

I have both consoles...I have an xbox360 and a PS3..i gave up my xbox because of the Ring of death...I love the Playstation network...not as fancy as xbox live, but its free...you can also download demos, music, movies via playstation network

you gotta see a bluray 60frames per second movie..par dat with a HDTV, it will blow your brains out.

The downside i guess is the disk...games are all original...wala pa naka hack...but i love having original games...PS3 slim is already out..u might want to wait a bit and see what happens.

but again, if ur under budget..360 would be the thing for u...they have hacked games..so it relatively cheap and affordable...

there will be a major price cut for xbox360 too, after sony drop the bomb last weekend..

its hackable but the format is too expensive to crack, you have to fit in +16gb ~ +36gb file in a single disc, which only bluray can do that.. until there will be a cheaper alternative to bluray disc... xbox will still dominate only if hddvd won the format war last couple years ago..

imagine playing final fantasy XIII or MGS4 on xbox using 12 disc, you need to swap disc because the game itself cannot fit on one disc..

How much na nga ba sa market yung PS3?

xbox 360 dude... yung ps3 ngayon tinatalo ng psp tsaka kahit ng older brother niya na ps2 heehee

"Kitase: Final Fantasy XIII Is Identical On Both Systems “Where It Matters” That Is
In a recent interview, Square Enix’s Yoshinori Kitase revealed that the Xbox 360 version of Final Fantasy XIII has not effected development in any way. Speaking at GamesCom, Kitase said:

“The important thing for us is that the game runs smoothly on both systems. We have made changes to the game, but nothing because of one system specifically – all changes have been made to get maximum performance.”

When asked if the Xbox 360 version of Final Fantasy XIII is identical to the PS3 version, Kitase said:

“Where it matters, yes. Because of differences in the hardware there will be slight differences but these will likely only be noticeable by comparing two identical scenes. The main difference is that the Xbox 360 version will ship on multiple discs.

He also went on to say that the team is hoping to fit the Xbox 360 version of the game onto just three discs.

gya na lng ng tom clancy's conviction (new released )and metal gear acid (soon) are now xbox exclusives... lumipat sila from ps to xbox..

i think that is a little wrong way to put it. Yes, ps2 outsold the ps3...it also outsold the 360...so why not get the ps2 right? we are talking about next gen consoles. PS2 made its mark and it lives up to this day the reputation it has built. If you are going to decide on the number of products sold rather the the key components/features/exclusives/stability, why not buy the Wii..it outsold both ps3 and 360 combined..yes it has a motion control but graphically its not that strong and not many titles for hardcore gamers..but it was able to grab attention to all ages..even hospitals are using the unit for cardio exercise

d reason y ps2 is outselling the 360 and ps3 now because of the market. A lot of the buyers of ps2 now are not the hardcore gamers anymore...Fathers, giving PS2 as a gift to his 12 year old son, uncles giving this as gift to nephews...you would not buy a PS3 for your 10 year old boy, right? or give it as give away gifts?...the market are wider, its far cheaper and the games overwhelmingly plenty...

metal gear acid? or do u mean metal gear rising? metal gear acid was PSP... no, its not an exclusive...you can go to http://www.konami.jp/kojima_pro/english/index.html and check on kojima production site itself...its not an exclusive..just like the metal gear 2 before...they made it multi platform...they are going to introduce the metal gear back to xbox...but its not an exclusive...they are starting a new series in metal gear, Raiden being the new guy..just like metal gear 2, Raiden was the hero...it started with multiplatform..so they will make dis new series multiplatform...

Snake series remained with playstation..even the new metal gear peace walker that stars Snake is only on PSP.

just to also add that even final fantasy went multiplatform...but take note that they are releasing more that 1 title...Final Fantasy XIII is multiplatform, But the Final Fantasy versus XIII and Final Fantasy XIV(online gaming) is only for PS3 and PC, no xbox...

Yes you're right about the 3rings of death...I had my system for almost 3 years until my xbox 360 failed I returned it to Microsoft and they replaced it under warranty...the turnaround took only 7 days. The nice thing about it was that I was still able to keep my hard drive and didn't lose any of the saves that I've made throughout the years

In regards to GoW 1&2 - I was talking about Epic Games 'Gears of War' series...one of the most breathtaking games for this new generation, the replay value is priceless! Good luck and Have fun

Actually addict po kami sa Sony. From PS to PS2 and PSP. Kaya naalangan lng ako if Sony pa rin ang bibilhin. Since may problem ang Xbox (kung di lng sa mga pulang ilaw na yan and walang blueray. yan cguro ang pick ko.) Kung bakit kasi nagchange sila ng console. Pwede naman sila gumawa ng hardcore na game sa PS2. kahit nga sa PC, eh. Kahit weak lng ung PC basta maganda ang kwento and action! Yeah! Para siguro anti piracy. hehe hehe

Maraming games ngayon. Puro super realistic ang dating pero pag nilaro mo na. tatamarin ka na dahil sa gameplay. Like Spideman: Web of shadows and Resident Evil 5 (hai naku... Ganda ng effects ang panget ng ending...) So far sa MGS nga lng din ako naaddict kasi feeling chuck norris!

I think, convince nq sa PS3. Your all right, cheap na ang prize ng PS3 para sa Blue ray feature nya. Kasi mahal nga talaga ang mga blueray player ngayon. Which is better sa PS3? yung incoming na PS3 slim? Or yung malaki? Hindi kaya mabilis magoverheat yung maliit tulad ng sa PS2 Slim?

JK, I'm probably going to buy one soon too. Rumor has it, the PS3 slim is not backwards compatible with PS2 games? Correct me if I'm wrong...

I really love my ps3...im not sure about overheating...just like any other units, you must keep the units well ventilated, away from direct sunlight and ofcourse, give some time to let it rest..dont play for 12 hours straight..ul be killing urself and ur unit...hehehe..

i guess the slim has no backward compatibility...i dont know why, coz it might just be a software or a type of emulator to be able to read the data, but i still dont know why they do not want it on all units.

I wish my Xbox 360 didnt die...I bought it in cebu it was modified to play pirated games....i was ignorant back then that i didnt know you would not be able to use the Xbox Live once u modify the unit. Im not sure about the newer xbox modification if the feature can be used, but i was one of the unlucky ones. I also found out that once u modify the unit, i lost all warranty and support...so wen the red ring of death came upon me, i was doomed.

anyway, i think we should make thread for both xbox and ps3 where we can share our user names so we can all add each other up on our networks...probably beat the hell out of each other on killzone and gears of war

Bago lng ako nakabili ng PS3 Slim Edition 120GB, this is the newest release of PS3(release date Sept 3, 2009).. phase out na kasi yung 80GB... kaya pala nagbabaan yung price ng mga ps3 80GB sa isang store dito.. sayang hindi namin naabutan kaya itong latest nalng nabili ko.. so far ok naman ang perfromance wala namang naiiba sa dati.. medyo magaan at maliit lng to...
